yeah...sailed high..exactly what you don't want..and Thompkins was wide open...seems it takes Mallett a few series to hype down...

The question everyone's asking about Tebow -- 'has Tebow shown anything to prove he belongs on the team' -- should be asked about Mallett too. Honestly, from his preseason appearances, the answer is no. I'm really not confident in either backup QB at all, and I was a Mallett fan when they drafted him.

He missed Washington on what would have been at least a 30 yard catch, and would have easily been a TD for Vereen.

Mallett's terrible.

I actually like what I'm seeing out of Mallett more today. Accuracy issues are one thing but I feel like he's making better decisions which matters to me more.
