This is a thread about Peter Kings SB prediction!

I think from now on every thread title should begin with "This is a thread about ..."

So ... to repeat my question from earlier: Any word on where and when this prediction was made by King?

Issue came out today (for me at least)

He has Brady winning MVP as well. The media sure does hate us!

Predictions mean nothing though, this thread is more about King seeing through all of the ESPN/NFLN/Mainstream media reports of demise and knowing that Brady+Belichick= success.

Sad when King gives us more respect than 9/10 of the local media.

Plunk your magic twanger, Froggy.

It was " Twang your magic twanger, Froggy ".

And, since it's Peter King predicting a Pats win over the Seahawks,it really means it will be a Giants win over the Pats.

Great, Can we hoist the banner now.....

Denver, Houston, Seattle and SF are so stacked that picking NE to win it all is the mediot's sexy pick for the ones that are trying to look smarter than the rest if they turn out to be right.

I don't really think Denver is that stacked, but it could just be me.

SF's team is just nuts--I don't see anyone beating them. Hopefully the Pats can just make the big game and with such a weak conference anything is possible.

I wonder if P.Queen came up with this all by himself or got help from his girlfriend Adam S.?

I would pick Houston vs. Seattle at this early going,I think both those teams are deep and stacked in many areas but its way too soon to predict anything.

SF lost the SB last year, tough to get back.

The Pats are relying on not one,two but up to 3 rookie WRs to play like seasoned vets, that may hurt in the playoffs if they get in.

I still worry about rookie WRs around here, lots of suckage in the past 10 years with a few exceptions.

Last year, Peter King predicted the Green Bay Packers would beat the Denver Broncos. Steeeeeee-rike Two!

Denver is stacked? No Dumerville, no Miller for six games, Bailey is out for "several" weeks which at his age could mean a lost season, DJ Williams is gone and they have no clue who their running back is. I don't call a one dimensional offense and second team defense stacked. Houston is Houston can Schaub play a whole season in consecutive years? Seattle and San Fran are both hoping their QB's avoid a sophmore slump. Which I think is coming, especially for Kap because the read option will not continue to work at the NFL level, it will go the way of the Wildcat.

There isn't a single AFC team that is stacked. Both Denver and Houston have as many question marks as the Pats.

The Broncos' secondary may the Pats' secondary look like a bunch of All Pros. They lost their two best pass rushers (well for the first six games for Von Miller). Based on the preseason, their best RB is Knowsean Moreno which means they do not have a legitimate starting RB. Their interior o-line is a mess. They got Manning and stacked receiving corp. That's really about it.

There are concerns about Foster's health and durability. If he cannot carry the load for 16 games, their offense falls apart because Schaub is not a guy who can take control of games and carry the offense on his back week after week. They let a very good safety go and replaced him with Ed Reed who may be done after hip surgery. They are still a soft team that seems to come up small in big games. Matt Schaub is always an injury risk.

San Fran is hoping the pistol offense doesn't end up being like the wildcat offense and once teams figure out how to defend it (Baltimore figured out how to in the Super Bowl until the lights went out), it becomes useless.

Seattle has to hope that they weren't one of those teams that came out of nowhere and became a legitimate contender one year and then fall back to the pack the next and go 8-8 and 9-7. You see that a lot in the NFL.

I honestly can say that there isn't a single team in the NFL that deserves to be the odds on favorite. Especially in the AFC, every team has some significant question marks.

To be fair Ben Tate is a stud. And their will be very little drop off from Foster to Tate. Agree with the rest.

I don't know about Seattle at all. They remind me of the Panthers team that went to the Superbowl, were predicted to run wild thereafter, and fell apart.

Why? PEDs, just like Carolina. Seattle had like 6 or 7 guys on the list at one point or another (which leads me to believe that they had a hot-line to a lab...Harbaugh was onto it), and now the league is watching them carefully. Those drugs make a huge difference. Off the drugs, are they the same team?

That's why I'm "meh" on Bolden and Cunningham. Players look like studs, get caught, clean up and resort to mediocrity.

If their defense stays healthy, they're an elite unit in the league. That being said, that team will go as far as Russell Wilson takes them this year.

Possible - they're my "bust" pick this year.

San Fran will not be as good as last year, either, but they're still stacked.

My pick from the NFC would be Atlanta...but, I mean, it's still August...
