[/QUOTE]So let me get this straight....Kyle Arrington is going to cover Welker one on one and make him a non factor...or relatively "quiet"...is that what you are saying here? If so, your alarm clock must not have gone off yet and you're DREAMING!!!! )
QUOTE=JMC00;3519721]I think Arrington is gonna surprise most people and keep Welker relatively quiet. When I say relatively I mean probably not a 10+ rec 100+ yard game
How do you think Arrington become a solid nickelback? It was covering Welker these past 4 years.
Arrington is really good inside covering WR & TE's across the middle. As good as he is there, I hate seeing him lining up outside.
Also, have to believe the years of covering WW in practice have to help him (conversely will help welker as well).
All of that said, nobody has been able to stop welker except welker, big time drops( had to say that), best we can hope is to contain him. He'll get his catches against us, but I would worry more about Thomas and decker without question.
As for injuries, the sportsman in all of us says we hate to see them, for the home team or foe. However, game day also brings us to not be too broken up when opponents have key players out.
