If you have a chance to read "War Room," there's a great story in there where JMcD picks up Moss at the airport the second day of the draft. Of course Moss doesn't realize that McDaniels is the Offensive coordinator due to his youthful appearance.

Doubt it. These guys don't get an automatic roster spot like Tebow does. They actually need a quarterback who can produce, you know, positive yardage in order to showcase themselves to the coaches. 1/6 for 1 interception and NEGATIVE one yard? On three drives? You've got to be kidding me.

I don't even think Tebow's going to be cut. I think he'll be with us all season no matter how awful he looks, by virtue of Josh's crush. At some point, the legitimate players who have to perform for their spot must get angry at the pass this guy gets. How could they not?

More than that for me, he is probably one the very few people who was let go that too in midseason and never ever said a bad word about BB or brady like some other players went to do. I will always respect him for that.

In my opinion his only shot at not being cut is if they put him on some type of reserve list.

He is going to make the team. They already started selling shirts with his name. Plus its more about good PR ,having a good character guy on the team right now for the ownership. So unfortunately he is going to make the team.

I'd hazard a guess that most players aren't kept because they are someone else.

Why would you want him to play FB? Is he a better back than the other guys playing the position?

no. is he a better QB than the other guys playing the position?

His ability is clearly as a runner. At this point the .05% chance that he can somehow translate that into TE/FB/HB whatever is better than the 0% chance he turns into a value added QB. As someone else pointed out at this point he's detracting from the team by a) changing how they have to play when they are out there and b) not even giving anyone a chance to make a play.

So no, I don't think there's a realistic chance he makes it at another position, but really it's his only chance in the NFL.

Even last yr with SF he said good things. After the SB loss he was waiting in Boston to meet Kevin Faulk . He isnt without faults obviously, but he is wired differently. Very few of his former teammates from all teams really say anything bad about him.

I'm going against the grain with this thinking, I certainly realize that.

I don't think we can give him a case of Foxborough Flu. It would look too weird and obvious.

I just can't help but thinking that they somehow assumed that he'd have a hard time picking up the scheme and throwing the ball, so I'm wondering if there's a longer "learning curve" period to this that goes throughout the season?

I'd have to say that you're probably right. I'm just thinking out loud.
