I bet I know where Brandon Lloyd is going

Kinda makes you wonder... if the Jests haven't signed him yet what makes you think anyone else would?

*edit* Didn't see that McCoy worked with Lloyd in Denver... still though...

It's the jets...they don't need any more locker room distractions. As it seems that lloyd was someone like that

Thought this was a thread about Odin Lloyd and where he was going in the afterlife.

They'll roll with youth like us in Vincent Brown and Keenan Allen. Lloyd's done.

I'm just glad this isn't a thread suggesting that the Pats should sign him (even after they cut him and had to eat the cap hit)

The fact that Lloyd remains unsigned as of now really suggests he's viewed as not being worth the trouble.

For the Patriots, Lloyd is 2013's version of 2006's Reche Caldwell. And as I recall we had an ok offense following Caldwell's de facto departure from the league (one year after serving as Brady's top WR)

I just saw the Malcolm Floyd scoll on the ESPN banner and I thought the SAME EXACT THING. I think Mike McCoy worked with Lloyd as well.

Weird....

McCoy was the OC the season Lloyd was traded out of Denver for a late round pick so I'm not sure if there is bad blood or not between the two.

The early word is that Malcolm Floyd has a "knee sprain," not an ACL tear.

I definitely agree with you that high round rookie choice Keenan Allen, coupled with Vincent Brown (I've seen this guy as impressive at times), Robert Meachem, and Eddie Royal would probably be just fine. The Chargers problems went a lot further than having an underwhelming receiving corps lately.

On top of that they still have quite a weapon in Antonio Gates.

Brandon Llyod is always a possibility for any team, but personally I'm not seeing the automatic connection that some are; although I obviously could be wrong too. I don't know if PIT could be an option with Burress down for the year, but I'd guess that they wouldn't want to commit to the kind of money that Llyod would likely want.

And now Eddie Royal just left practice in an ambulance, tough year so far for the SD WR's
