Ok, you went to a terrible team, got overpaid, and sucked. No problem, we welcome you back Mark on the cheap!

10 sacks in 2011 with us, registered a sack in the superbowl. Bring him into camp and throw him in the mix.

1st ? w/ Mark Anderson would be health of knee. Why Bills cut him in year 2 of 4-year deal? RT @tml495 any interest from pats to sign him??

On #Bills & Mark Anderson: I'm told he passed his physical, then was cut. We'll see how it's listed. Knee believed to be good enough to play

Have to wonder why he was released. . . . but if the Pats can get him for reasonable money, I'm all for it.

I'd take him on the cheap, but that will likely signal the end of Cunningham's time here, maybe also Bequette.

Bring him back for another big season and then he can kill the fins cap room next offseason.

Don't know how much he has left or how much he would improve the team at this point but throw him into the mix, at least he has had some success in their system.

Pretty good situational pass rusher in 2011. If he's brought back, I would be alright with it as long as it's for low money and he's on the sideline on early downs.

1-year, low money, nothing guaranteed. If Bequette or Cunningham step up, cut him with nothing lost. If neither does, you've got a vet who has succeeded here in the past as a plan B.

Yep. I'd be absolutely fine with that. Cunningham is not going to step up, and I would be shocked if he makes it onto the final 53. Basically, the competition would be between Anderson and Bequette for reps.

He just turned 30, may still have something to add if the knee heals. I wouldn't mind signing him for reasonable even if we have to IR him a year. He was great in his role with us.

I am interested in seeing how much Jermaine Cunningham has bulked up so that he plays more inside than out.

I recall someone reporting that he added weight this off-season to play more defensive tackle.

Can someone confirm that he was reported to have put on more weight since last off-season?

If I told you that your wife is hot, would you take it as a compliment?

I'm not quite ready to give up on Cunningham. He was looking pretty good before getting suspended. Granted that may have been smoke and mirrors given what he was suspended for, but I'm willing to see if it was just a case of not being able to catch up again after four weeks off.

Agreed. I'm of the mind that Jermaine is on the outside looking in at the moment, but he isn't that far away from a spot on the roster, particularly if there is a need for interior rushing.

Not interested in signing him, it takes playing time away from Bequette, Buchanon and Cunningham. Those guys need to step up and show what they have.

Perhaps, but I wouldn't mind hearing how lucky she is to have me :D

I'm reminded of the end of the best man speech at my friend's wedding:

"For all the guys out there, this is a sad occasion. [The Bride] is officially... off the market. Sorry guys. For the ladies out there... just another day."

;)

I think it may have been smoke and mirrors. The big talk before he came back was about how fresh he was supposedly going to be, but he looked like he looked before the beginning of last season: just better than garbage. If Anderson is signed, he showed more in one season than Cunningham has in three thus far. Plus it would mean giving young guys like Bequette and Buchanan (who I'm high on) more reps to improve and get comfortable.

Nah, you are giving extra weighting to the end of the year. Prior to the suspension he was an integral part of the interior rush and was playing pretty well. Not great or anything, but much better than JAG levels.

How much of his absence afterward is due to non-PED drop in performance, punishment from Bill or some other reason will just have to be left for debate, at least until his roster status this year is settled.
