But he and Aaron are worlds apart.
Please elaborate how they are "worlds apart."

Patriot fans are embarassing themselves trying to compare this to lewis, Carruth is a much better analogy.
Lewis is a scumbag. Hernandez is a cold blooded execution style murderer, there is no comparison.
Embarrassing?
Whys that now?

Because as heinous as it is to cover up for your friends involvement in a murder actually planning and executing a cold blooded murder is much much worse. You guys can pretend it is analogous all you want but you just look like idiots.

Lewis could very well be a murderer, too. He just had the good sense to cover up his involvement by lying, getting rid of the most damming evidence, and testifying against his friends.
As a matter of fact, if Hernandez can't be proven to be the triggerman, the cases are very similar.
Lewis settled with the families. Let's stop pretending that his involvement was limited to "covering up."
And maybe Tom Brady killed Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, he's from California. Lewis obstructed justice in a murder, period, Hernandez was behind the execution and his friends were the accessories, regardless of who actually pulled the trigger it was done because Hernandez wanted it done, not because of his friends.
People can hate Ray Lewis all they want; if he played for another team, I'd probably hate the antics and the God stuff (glad that part's over, actually). But the law says he's not a murderer, or even a felon, so people can get over that or not.
I watched the trial, Lewis wasn't guilty of murder but he was complicit in covering it up, which makes him a world class piece of sh.t. I was hoping that was all Hernandez was but in truth he is much much worse than that, and anyone who can't see that now is really really blind.
For the record, what Hernandez did is worse. But to pretend they're not even in the same ballpark (or that Lewis' involvement was clearly limited to obstruction) is what I think is ridiculous.

I think Lewis is a piece of crap but being present at a fight outside a bar and covering up for friends who killed a guy is simply not in the same ballpark as planning and executing a cold blooded premeditated murder, which is what Hernandez did. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but what I saw yesterday was flat out chilling and horrifying, it does not get any more cold blooded than what he did. Hernandez is in a ballpark with OJ and Carruth.
The prosecution did not even prove that there was a murder. In fact, their own witnesses proved that there wasn't:

Jesus, now I'm mad that Lewis didn't get the chair for that stupid "fourth-down-and-life" quote.
