Isn't that a violation of his fifth admendment rights? I am asking because I don't know. I know it is usually applies to the government not allowing self incrimination, but is it legal for a corporation to deny you employment unless you give up your fifth admendment rights?

The 5th amendment (Federal) only applies to government involvement, so it wouldn't apply here. Hernandez would need to seek other avenues of redress.

What pressure can you put on someone who has nothing related to the case to hide? I just find it hard to believe that if they had any real evidence to connect AH to the crime that they woulndt have arrested him. Guess they want to be 100% sure...doubt what they whave now would stand up in court

They are yes but the hounding of him, false information etc etc is all out of order and if it turns out he has nothing to do with it then they have essentially tarred him for the rest of his life - people are already convinced he's guilty of murder thanks to the media.

It is looking more & more likely as time goes on that he is involved in some way unless this latest raid by the Police is one last attempt at trying to find something because it looks like so far they have jack.

This is getting worse. Beginning to suspect that Hernandez's dog may have murdered a neighborhood dog.

What false information? They had a source say he'd be arrested. Maybe the police changed their minds. There is a dead body and he is being investigated. It isn't hounding someone if they're being hounded with the facts.

Without a witness or a gun I don't see how the police convict him for murder or conspiracy. Its possible to spin a tale where he's innocent. If no one talks then who is to say ahern had nothing to do with the killing and didn't know he'd be killed or conspire to dump the body. There were two other people there at least.

If ahern pleads the fifth in front of a grand jury then that may be enough to get him banned by the league even without a conviction.

I don't know. Not being on the scene, I'm just looking at likely scenarios, while trying to hold off on making too many guesses. The safe/door idea seemed like a pretty safe sort of guess, given that those are things you'd typically call in a locksmith for, and a crowbar was reportedly brought in prior to the locksmith's arrival.
