Based on a quirk in judcial procedures involving TTEs (tattooed tight ends), warrant cannot be issued until Doc Rivers is traded to Clippers.

I would Love to see Doc Rivers (& Pierce & KG) traded to the Clippers.

Just because it would have been incredibly stupid for AH to do this does not mean he didn't do it.

doesn't mean he did it either...your move, Boris Spazzky...

There's a famous quote around law offices of "if our clients were smart, we wouldn't be in business." DA's also often say, "If criminals weren't so dumb, this job would be a lot harder." People do stupid things and get caught.

Just because it would have been incredibly stupid for AH to do this does not mean he didn't do it.

It doesn't but my opinion ... is that he did not do it.

Odin's family has no clue ... Maybe he was killed due to mistaken identity.

How about another possibility that one of the two with Hernandez was the real target?

The more we see this case, I don't see Hernandez at fault. There is obviously alot going on behind the scenes. Maybe they already told the police all they know. Who knows.

REPORT: There was no Odin Lloyd

A new report refutes the existence of Odin Lloyd, Aaron Hernandez, you, and the universe itself. According to law enforcement sources, this entire experience has been a mere "dream in the mind of our maker" and the very reality that you thought was true was actually just the "celestial fabric of the hazy half-conscious imagination of material substance," ABC News reports today.

By chance does Aaron go by the name Shadow? It may make sense that Aaron was involved. Be on the look out for Loki.

Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. Like I said earlier, inconsistent reporting isn't enough reason to say that every reported "fact" isn't true, either. Just because an arrest warrant wasn't issued posthaste doesn't mean that the victim isn't a known associate of Hernandez, or that the security system wasn't damaged, or that those weren't Hernandez's rental cars, etc.

It's not enough to hang Hernandez, and any reasonable person would wait until the outcome of the investigation and any trial, but it's pretty ridiculous to draw conclusions just because the media hasn't been 100% (I also think there's a certain amount of audience over-interpretation going on as well).

You realize that can be flipped around? Just because there is a news report about it doesn't mean that the security system was damaged or that those were his rental cars, etc. Talk to me when there is an official report. Nobody here is drawing the conclusion that he is innocent. We are drawing the conclusion that the media is incompetent.

Police always have their stoolies who slide by giving info as needed

... I am sure some in Dorchester know more history here.

Hernandez is getting more coverage than LeBron winning his second trophy. Thank goodness for that. I'm sick of the NBA and their refs handing LeBron trophies to gather interest.

The media has not been consistent, but there are some facts

*Body location
*Destroyed phones and security systems
*Cleaning crew
*Relationship with the dead man

that makes it obvious that he knows something. I do believe most of the story is been overblown by the media, especially by ABC news with their exclusive scoops from 'sources', anxiously awaiting his arrest. The talk of using the arrest warrant to scare Hernandez into talking is more speculation from the media. They are in a race to get more website hits or ratings than the competing shows, so its expected. I don't think they'll arrest Hernandez unless they have something concrete.

He's guilty of something though. Even Olivia Pope (The home-wrecking Fixer, from Scandal if you're not familiar) would tell the guilty man, she's attempting to fix PR-wise, to act normal and not release an offical statement until something BIG comes out.

I will apologize for assuming he's guilty because of his former gang relations and wait this out. Maybe his friend was in trouble and went to him for help. Then on his way home his rivals went riding down the block and shot him in the back of the head. I doubt it though.

Please point me to the named sources that the supposed bolded "fact have come from.

As far as I know it hasn't been confirmed if he called them in day of. It could have just as easily as been a weekly cleaning.

OMG!!!...oh no!!!...you mean millionaire sports jock have contracts with cleaning services to do their bachelor pads every week????

THIS IS HORRIBLE!!!!...he should get life...there's the PROOF!@!!

just a guess ... also I think Hernandez may know something of value to the police but wants to steer clear of it all. man was killed execution style - Hernandez has enough money he could have had people do that way away from his house if he so desired ... but why would he kill a friend or have him killed? I do not think Hernandez has anything to do with it.

How do you explain the destroyed security system, the destroyed/disassembled phone, the cleaning crew, the fact that Hernandez was recently seen with the victim, and the proximity to AHern's house?

even if hernadez didn't kill anybody. hes still a scum bag gang banging wana be. that much we know for sure. idc how good he is I hope he never plays another snap for the patriots again.

The lack of a named sources is kind of moot considering the fact that the one of the worst things a reporter can do is to out his or her source.

yeah...just ask John Tomase...

:wha: The WORST thing a report can do is betray the public trust and report something incorrectly as fact. Do you even understand the role of a reporter? These are supposed to be the people that report truth not tabloids? Do you understand that you are being lied to over and over and over again and you are fine with that? Lets put this in perceptive. These media outlets are doing what Tomase did with a murder investigation. Let that sink in for a moment.

Absolutely, and I've said as much already.

Talk to me when there is an official report.

An official or meaningful conclusion to this situation is the only hope for this thread given all the speculation.

Nobody here is drawing the conclusion that he is innocent.

Well, lots of folks are reaching in both directions, but the people using media inconsistency as evidence of anything are probably making the worst or silliest arguments.

We are drawing the conclusion that the media is incompetent.

That's not a very interesting conclusion. Not trying to get into a pissing match but this is one of those "no **** sherlock" statements. I still haven't heard anything convincing that disproves most of the things that the media has reported. (Note: I'm not anti-Hernandez based on the information and I hope it turns out that he's a great guy who didn't really do anything wrong, but I'm squarely in the "walks like a duck" camp.)

No, they are not. Most people questioning the inconsistency of this case have a right to do so mainly because the performance of the media has been diabolical.

The media coverage of this case has, in my opinion, been pathetic.

The rabbit was hopping away rapidly, and there was doubtlessly a fear that it might be a flight risk. I'm sure we'll get a report that an arrest was made and the police will claim exigent circumstances.

Breaking news: Elmer Fudd of ABC News is now reporting a special weekend warrant will be issued to the suspicious bunny. Fudd reports paw prints matching said rabbit were near the surveillance camera and possibly on the damaged hard drive. No word on the condition of the fluffy little rabbits cell phone. The rabbit was allegedly told to leave his hole after a brief workout in the underground facility.
