As I said before, Innocent until proven guilty. As someone who is trying to get into law enforcement and hopefully make detective...(note i am going by what the news is reporting) It is suspicious that Hernandez destroyed phones, erased surveillance tapes, and not cooperating with the police.

If Hernandez is guilty of the actual murder, he wont be on the football field anymore. If he is guilty of destroying evidence then depending on the laws of Massachusetts will depend on jail time. I need to check, but I think destroying evidence is a felony.

umm... law enforcement as a career choice sends up a huge red flag to people. Man, talk about jackmunch alert. rotf.

Maybe you can start at the bottom as security guard at The Trumbull Mall and work your way up. Any way you choose to go about it, one certainty is you'll meet the biggest male jagoffs in the whole country, for those are the ones who say to themselves,"Hey, you know what? I'd like to go into law enforcement."

Sources: MSP has video surveillance of NE Patriot Aaron Hernandez returning to home shortly after neighbors heard gunshots.

Bah, between this and tebow.. worst off season ever.

more good news...:bricks:

Wait . . . wasn't the body found a mile away? And how long after did Hernandez return home?

In any case, let me just point out how far speculation/rumors can go: I was in Philadelphia on 9/11. Nothing happened there, but I had heard rumors—within a couple of hours—that essentially made the downtown area sound like a war zone.

How can they prove that his stuff didn't break on accident, like say he dropped his phone and it smashed? Or do they not really need to prove that kind of thing?

You cant smash your phone by dropping it. If you accidentally drop your phone, your screen cracks. I am more concerned with deleting the surveillance tapes, that just shows he's hiding something.

As for my gut...my gut tells me that like many gang cases everyone is going to keep their mouth shut and a murderer won't be identified. There won't be enough to charge him with anything. My gut also suspects that Goodell will have enough to suspend him however and that will be enough for the Patriots to cut ties with him.

if a man is killed, shot in the head by one bullet, but three men were there - it doesn't matter who pulled the trigger - they all go down. If there is enough evidence without a witness or one to snitch. Big question mark 48 hrs in. Your assumption is fair only if there is not.

1.) Yes, you can smash your phone by dropping it.

2.) People delete, or simply record over, surveillance tapes all the time.

that ballard move is looking mighty good right now

I have dropped my phone plenty of times..it didn't automatically break into 4 different pieces rendering it useless. His phone from 1980?

I have dropped my phone plenty of times..it didn't automatically fall into 4 different pieces rendering it useless. ..not sure what kind of phone you have..

Who said it was smashed into four different pieces?

1. I have dropped my phone plenty of times and never smashed it. The only time I smashed my phone was by throwing it against the wall(which Hernandez could of done)

2. Why would Hernandez delete it after the police questioned him?

Who said anything about automatically? You never know what you're going to get out of your phone nowadays. I simply noted something I know to be true from having seen it happen to someone else. You can, in fact, end up with a smashed phone if you drop it. On the other hand, I had one drop into hurricane floodwaters and, after drying, it worked for another 2 years before I traded it in.

What's the point of smashing a phone if police have access to the records anyway?
