I guess they followed him to the Pru. That is where Ropes and Gray are located. I think I remember that they delivery he had while the police were there were from this firm.

As for the "cleaning crew" that came in on Monday, We have no idea if it was Hernandez or his GF who did the hiring. With a house that big, she could have done it because of the mess Ahern's friends made and wanted it cleaned since she has her hands full with the baby..

Ya the word some of the media are using is the cleaning crew came into "scrub" the house.

How do they know what the cleaning crew did? A lot of people that have the money to spend have cleaners that come in weekly. Monday might have just been their regularly scheduled time.

If it was smashed before the incident or by someone not Hernandez, then it won't be obstruction on Hernandez's part.

The US Code says otherwise and just for the record there is absolutely no differentiation regarding the timing on the destruction of evidence.

Yet it is private citizens that sit in jury boxes....

And I agree OJ did it but I'm really not seeing the relevance here to OJ.....OJ ran, had a trial where the facts from the police investigation were brought in front of a jury and the nation....Right now all we have is a ton of media reports speculating and reporting whatever bone they are thrown.

Again, I'm not seeing the comparison at this point.

O.J. was aquitted, yet you agree that he did it.

Too much stuff going on with hernandez. It's clear the guy has a temper issue. Evn if he didn't pull the trigger, he is facing jail time with conspiracy. His career might be over. Pats will cut him in a few weeks - time to move onto ballard.

How long before you embrace the reality that Hernandez is simply not the unluckiest guy in the world and likely had some type of involvement or knowledge regarding a person who was shot to death?

How many times are you going to fall for reports that later turn out to be false before you start to accept that reports are often fault and that early reports are a bad way to determine anyone's fate?

Last time i checked when a professional cleaning crew was asked to cleanup a giant pool of blood, they are most likely going to report it to the police.

Ah....when will you understand the basic concept that I don't know what happened and frankly neither do you, unless you have some direct involvement in the investigation. Does he have knowledge or did he shoot the guy? It's a possiblilty, but it's also possible that he has no involvement or direct knowledge. I'm open to both possiblities are you? I have no dog in this fight....just find people jumping to conclusions on contradicting media reports to be foolish.

I think the point of the post was that the security system might have been non-functional for weeks.

I've made my stance pretty clear, but the cleaning crew would be the easiest thing to dismiss. He could have maids come in every Monday, no biggie, it sounds ominous in context but could be benign.

Destroying home security on the other hand not so easy to explain.

If it was done by one of the "guests", then sure it is. Don't you find it the least bit strange that it didn't get mentioned after either of the 1st TWO executed warrants? It's only getting mentioned now???

Yes, you've made your stance perfectly clear. You've already convicted Hernandez despite the lack of facts and the NEW information that has come out that may alter the timeline in regards to when the guys went out and when they didn't..

I have to agree, he's finished, time to move on. So sad, what a talent. Fells played hurt last year, supposedly he's feeling great, so he might be a surprise. Ballard should be solid, and Sudfeld might surprise. Brandon Ford is an interesting prospect, as is Mark Harrison, who could possibly play that BIG receiver role we expected from Hernandez. I'm not happy about this whole situation, but the Pats still have a lot of talent in the TE category.

Putting on my Perry Mason hat on.

The only way that this all makes sense is that this was a domestic incident and that Hernandez is protecting his girlfriend's family by destroying the surveillance camera, cell phone, etc.

There was almost a full two days between when hernandez was seen with the victim and the body was found.

The victim's girlfriend was "missing" for a full two days after the body was found.

That seems to be the ONLY plausible scenario where Hernandez is not directly involved given the evidence that has leaked out so far.

Ballard is still limping in OTAs

Face it... we're totally screwed :bricks:

what i find strange is that they didn't find the body for at least 12 hours and Ahern last saw the guy on Saturday early morning.

As for the cleaning crew we have no idea is if something that is done weekly (which I think is very possible) for a house that big.

It seem like the media is just grasping at straws for everything. There is no way with this many "leaks" they have a strong case about anything if they had a solid case they would not be letting this much stuff out because even a person like my self who only knows about police investagations from tv and the news knows that this many leaks give to many people too much information to the defense. Hell that is one of the reasons OJ got off too many leaks gave the defense time to give the jury reasonable doubt.

If you think that a jury is not going to be affected by the conflicting media stories that you do not understand human nature. They are practical going to have to move the trial under a rock for people to no know about it

I have one and I can't say I check if it is working till I need to see a video. Who knows. It does not look good but I know enough to know the press gets it wrong quite often and this has only increased with the internet as they all want to be first. In the old days there was a paper so you would wait a day between updates. Now it is minutes and they will post rumors etc... since they need to keep the clicks coming.

How many times are you going to fall for reports that later turn out to be false before you start to accept that reports are often fault and that early reports are a bad way to determine anyone's fate?

As was pointed out, this is a messageboard not a courtroom. I admit that I could be wrong but the rate and volume of disturbing details is overriding my fanbot hopes that AH had no involvment.

Is it possible that all these reports are wrong? Yes

Is it probable that enough of them are accurate relative to formulating a reasonable belief as to his involvement? Yes

While the issuance of a search warrant does not imply guilt a judge has to sign off after reviewing the MSP affadavidt, IIRC 2 warrants have been issued so far. I'm leaning toward the info not being a bunch of coincidences being falsely reported by the media.

The US Code says otherwise and just for the record there is absolutely no differentiation regarding the timing on the destruction of evidence.

Really? Please provide said code that says that a surveillance system that was broken days or even weeks before a felony means that the owner of the equipment is guilty of obstruction?? Or if someone else broke the equipment that Hernandez is guilty of Obstruction.. If that was the case, then there would be a lot more store owners paying fines for broken surveillance equipment.

Please tell us you're joking. He's innocent but is doing everything he can to obstruct a murder investigation because he doesn't want the cops to see him with that bong he bought at Ye Olde Head Shop last week?

If this murder is drug related, and if Hernandez or his house guests* are involved, then I don't think we're talking about one bong here...we'd be talking about a criminal amount of drugs. Whether the camera had evidence pertaining to the murders or not, there's plenty of reasons he would want to destroy the security camera.

And I didn't say anything about his innocent or guilt. Yet again. And yet again, a statement on his innocence or guilt was extrapolated.

*Someone please confirm that the two guys taken from his house yesterday are living there?
