Bruins vs Chicago (Because it's the Stanley Cup)

The black hawks have beenspending way to much time in the bruins end of the ice during this over time.

That damned pipe.

Damn that was close, off the post, i thought it was in.

bounces going chicago's way like it went our way vs pitt.. dont like how this is looking..

im tired just watching this. imagine how the players feel. hope Horton is ok. don't need another guy going down.

Goodnight folks. I'll dream of victory ...

Its like chicagos net has a force field around it.

100% saw that coming. When you miss a wide open net. Nothing is going in

Not much to do other than salute two teams on a well played match that both deserved to win. It's unfortunate that the Bruins lost on a deflection but it is what it is.

Completely agree. The last 2 Chicago goals were just shoot at the net and hope for the bounce/deflection. Nothing wrong with that, they got 'em, that's hockey, nothing TR could do on either of them. But I hadn't seen the bounces go so against us in a while. Prior to this it sure seemed (especially considering the game 7 comeback) the Bruins had the Hockey gods on their side these playoffs. HOPEFULLY game 1 is the odd occurrence and the hockey gods return to our favor. If not the Bruins are going to need to raise their game above what they played in game 1, tonight's performance is not going to be good enough IMHO.

2011 the bruins also lost game one in heart breaking fashion if memory serves to the canucks. canucks broke a scorless tie with 18 seconds left in the third period. heres hoping this series ends up the same way with the bruins on top. it stings like a ***** when you lose in over time that's for sure.

F'n aye. Unbelievable game last night regardless of who won or lost. For some "masochistical" reason the names, Petr Klima and Bill Ranford kept running through my head last night. I sure hope they can overcome this. I don't know if I will....

I can't decide if I can't win or I can't lose.

I'm from Chicago, my husband's from Massachusetts, we live in Virginia.

I've adopted the Patriots as my own. I'm ok with The Bears. I'm ok with The Skins. I want them both to win whenever they play anyone but The Pats. Then I want the Pats to win.

But this - this Bruins vs. BlackHawks. This has me struggling.

I'm glad they won in late night overtime last night. MrP was already asleep. I got to do the silent Happy Dance, whisper "Hawks Win!! Hawks Win," and exchange clandestine "Whoo-Hooo" texts with my drunken children in the Midwest without fear of disappointed spousal reprisal.

Brutal turnover by Krug.

I can't believe Daugavins passed up a shot on an open net to play with the puck.

Shoot me.

Let's look on the bright side, everyone! We can always soothe our sorrows in the football forum reading about Tebow! :frusty::frusty::frusty:
