I cant speak of the fans (but what would you expect), but PIT played hard and clean, with nary a complaint on the ice.
They probably shoulda/coulda won one, and with a bit of bounce, two of those games, but sometimes the puck doesn't fall your way.
Ether way, they played hard, and never gave up. Well played with class PIT.
Our B's were just too deep, and too disciplined. And gelling at the perfect time. When they play like this, they're tough to beat.
All I can say now is, go-go LA, take this series to 7, win it, so I can sit in 6 hours of 5N traffic to catch a game of the cup -a relevant sporting event- down here in SD. /endhomesickrant But if that's too much to ask, win one more for the Gretz at least, tire CHI a bit out, and throw in an injury too if you could. Sadly though, I fear LA just doesn't have the scoring to win this series. I was amazed they snuck into the playoffs this year at all, never mind got to here. But CHI seems just too fast & agile to allow their big forecheck to cycle game to have effect, which is their only chance to score consistently. I swear the two goals they scored on Thurs practically fell into the net. No real pressure or actual sustained threat at all. Without Quick, they would have nothin. But I got a good feeling they take this one game @ CHI, desperate LA wins in a heavy physical game rife with injury potential.... and while prognosticating a bit, I then feel LA will lose next at home, and silver prices will remain steady. But a nice 6 game series would be great.
Assuming a CHI win, who can't wait for that one? An epic clash of styles from two great franchises.
