It would be nice to have a playmaking LB instead of a tackle machine.

the pats have like 4 guys on the roster that can play ILB i dont see the pats looking at him, i am a fan of the guy i just dont think he's a need right now

You realize Mayo made more big plays than Urlacher last year, right?

It would be nice to have a playmaking LB instead of a tackle machine.

Even though I don't agree with the thought of Urlacher (not to mention a lack of value AND need), I can at least understand and respect your feelings about the situation.

What I can't understand though, is your quoted statement. If anything I would think that Urlacher would be playing the role of the "tackle machine," while our 3-4 young, high pick LB's would be more of the playmaker roles.

Regardless, it's hardly a need or a fit. The only other LB we'll be considering adding besides maybe some camp fodder will be a guy who is deeper in range and coverage skills, and also on the speedier side.

Urlacher doesn't do anything that the Pats don't already have plenty of.

Urlacher had most of his great years from '01 - '06. His last one was in 2010. He's toasted. He has the most value to the Bears as a PR guy on his final junket through the league. He's done.

When I went to Urlacher to kick the tires, this is what I found:

So, that would be a no vote by me.

I live in Bear Country. He can not run anymore and the Bears personnel dept. knows this and have been extremely reluctant to bring him back.

For vet. min. I would kick the tires as his experience could help the younger linebackers on the roster, but not for anything more.

I'm tired of over-the-hill and oft-injured. I thought we were going younger? I voted stay away.

I dunno, I think Craft is too cheap to pay him what he'd be looking for.

what about Carlos kennyb, er, Dansby?

He got faked out by Brady in his prime. Now he's got bad knees. That means even Bledsoe (in his prime) could fake him out now.

The guy can barley run anymore...hell no. Save the $6.75 for a big mac and fries for big vince

Urlacher and bears unable to reach agreement per Bleacher Report. LB moving on after 13 seasons with the bears.

damn it I accidentally voted for bring him in. But I adamantly want them to stay away.

If it's not a pass coverage beast of a LB, don't want him.
