NFC Championship Game: San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons

Well Atlanta can eliminate the Harbaugh-Harbaugh SB possibility right now.

The Falcons will be tough in a dome.

Wow, I didn't see this coming

It's oddly satisfying seeing the 49ers get their butts kicked.

ATL's success is starting with the Oline... follow it up with a nice throw and catch... TD.

Will Kaepernick try to forcing plays and trying too hard to make something happen with his legs?

Yes!!!!!!!

I'm loving this so far.

EVERYONE was picking SF in this game. Just like Denver vs. Baltimore last week. It seems like SF was a bit complacent about this one. I'm sure BB will be hammering this message home to the Pats. No let up.

Wide receivers like Julio Jones remind me that, while Welker is great, our offense could be downright deadly if we had a physical presence on the outside. How many successful passes by Ryan in this game would've been incomplete with about 99% of other NFL receivers?

And that's what would make them difficult to beat should the Pats advance (assuming the Falcons continue to dominate). The Pats have a very inconsistent pass rush and, though much improved , the secondary cannot guard their weapons for a full game if the Pats can't get pressure. That applies to today's game as well.

Wow Atlanta up 17-0 now. Talk about upset victories. Why did everyone count out Atlanta again? Solid defense, solid RB, and two pro bowl caliber receivers. Matt Ryan must be feeling vindicated right now. Previously 0 fer in the playoffs and now on the verge of making the Superbowl!

not to toot my own horn but:

i chose Bal, and i chose ATL

(only one i was wrong about last week was GB)

Not looking like were going to have the "Harbaugh Bowl" I hoped for. Might as well make it a blow out from this point if they can. opcorn:

Love watching Jim Jerkbaugh and that bicep kissing douche Keapernick get a good pimp smacking, keep it going....:rocker:

More like, any chance we see Colin Kaepernick?

To your point, you won't see either if the left side of SFs Oline lets ATL blow by them like that last series.

True. But Julio Jones is special. He and AJ Green are the best WRs to come out since Calvin Johnson in 2008, and before that since Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. They are rare talents, who are actually as good as advertised.

Jeez, even I have underestimated ATL it looks like. Julio, Roddy, and Tony G would be a handful if we make it there.

SF not only looks human they look totally overmatched
