NFL Playoffs: Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

Indeed. I don't see any way Seattle comes back. Of course, that doesn't mean they possibly won't, but I just don't think they will.

Seattle has put up some big points on the board in 2nd halves of games. Don't rule them out. They have an explosive offense. We saw that ourselves. It will be tough for them and unlikely, but not impossible.

Dont think either of these teams matches up well with 49ers. They will bully them next week.

Sort of funny that Atlanta just burned Sherman

(history jokes FTW)

Yeah. I picked them at the beginning to be in the SB, and it looks as though that prediction will hold up. I don't see either of these teams beating them next week.

Might end up a Patriots vs 49ers Superbowl. That would be a heckuva a story. Kaepernick vs Brady. Young mobile QB vs Veteran pocket passer. Which style is better? Also Brady playing against his childhood favorite team. Interesting...

ALL scoring plays are reviewed. Period. That was a rule implemented this year. As are all turnovers. The replay official looks for things like the Player who scored having been in bounds the entire time and having had control of the ball when crossing the endzone.

I was talking about how he didn't confirm it right away. He buzzed the ref to go under the hood. I know every score is reviewed.

It's got to be so frustrating to defend a guy like Wilson.

I will freely admit that I have no idea what will happen in the NFC from week-to-week.

If ATL wins is this the first playoff win for Ryan?

yes it would be, apparently ryan's legacy is on the line haha

next week if its ATL, SF it will be the game GB-SF shoulda been

Yeah, I hear you. I just feel with the momentum and just how aggressive ATL has been offensively, it would just be too much for a team with a rookie QB and one that's relatively young and inexperienced to overcome. They also were not very good in the regular season away from home. A lot of their big scoring games were in Seattle.

But you're right, it is not impossible.

it's really amusing to see the seahawks get a taste of their own medicine against the falcons Dome sOUND.

OK, late to the thread. I'm happy with the results so far. I want Atlanta to make it to the SB as they have always been respectful of the Pats, have Tom Dimitroff in charge, and the media wouldn't like the lack of anti-Pats material.

Seattle scares me as a "destiny" team and I want their run squelched. Their luck reminds me of how the 2001 Pats rode a streak of amazingly fortuitous events all the way to the Lombardi. Not saying they were not good, but a lot of breaks went their way.

I don't really have anything against SF, I just don't have anything FOR them either, and I'd rather play the more conventional QB if the Pats get there. I also don't want the Harbaugh-Harbaugh SB that the media would love; if it displeases the media, I am probably for it.

Seattle destroyed the 49ers in their last meeting.

Wilson is due for a mistake...

It was nice of the Falcons to remind the Pats that blowouts are possible in the playoffs.

It's not over if they can get 7 here, they're getting the ball again to start the 3rd

the always powerful prevent D lol
