Jonathan Cooper, G -- North Carolina: Cooper received first round grades from scouts prior to the season and has surpassed expectations on the field this year. He was stamped as the premiere zone-blocking lineman in the nation and Cooper has expanded his game in 2012. The athletic guard improved his power at the point of attack and now displays the ability to beat down defenders on the line of scrimmage as well as annihilating opponents blocking in motion. Cooper will be the second guard selected in April 's draft after Alabama's Chance Warmack. He is unlikely to make it out of the draft's initial 15 choices.
Kyle Long, OL -- Oregon: Long is rarely mentioned outside scouting circles, but the junior college transfer is quickly rising up draft boards. The athletic lineman blocks with terrific fundamentals and shows tremendous skill blocking in motion. He offers potential at both offensive tackle and guard, and like his father Howie Long, figures to be selected somewhere inthe middle of Round 2.
It was inevitable. Scouts basically never miss on guys with obvious talent.Tony Pauline thinks that not 1 but 2 guards will be top 15 picks in the 2013 draft, according to his current take on Jonathan Cooper, who he lists in this week's Risers and Sliders:

The only time I feel like I not only bested the media, but also NFL scouts, is when I called Antonio Brown the most underrated prospect of the draft. I still don't understand why he was a 6th rounder. Great speed, insane change of direction skills, good with the ball in his hands, quickness gives him the potential to be an elite route runner, over 300 career receptions (left as a junior), and the only player in NCAA history with multiple seasons with at least 100 receptions.
Beyond that? My other success stories with sleepers include Alterraun Verner, K.J. Wright, kinda Sean Lee (Kuechly like when healthy), and, eventually, Delano Howell (undrafted rookie safety who's preseason was absolutely perfect). But with all of these guys, I could understand the skepticism of the scouts. The fact that Brown was a 6th rounder made me think scouts were dumb. But, they aren't. And they'll notice guys like Long every time
Maybe. But William Gholston has probably cost himself more with inconsistent play, lack of development, and character issues. All of that, plus a relationship to Vernon Gholston, is a lot of baggage.

I'll bet you a dollar he won't be a second rounder.
He's going to be 24 in December, has off the field issues, and can't beat out a freshmen at LT so he's starting at left guard, but Pauline probably doesn't know that.
He's not a 7th ronder anymore, but good find anyway.

Leon McFadden, CB -- San Diego State: McFadden has been steadily rising up draft boards since the start of the season and is another who is exceeding expectations in 2012. He's a feisty cornerback with next-level size and the ball skills to match. McFadden has intercepted three passes this season, broken up 10 throws and has 57 tackles to his credit. He continues to improve on the field and several scouts feel McFadden will be a top-75 pick in next year's draft.

Anyone else interested in drafting Matt Barkley if he falls to the 3rd round?
Here are the ones I've found:
thornsx's channel - YouTube
Generally uploads three to four games a week - mainly big TV games, not many minnows here. Quality isn't the best but certainly watchable. Not great for scouting because it's hard to pick out the player you're scouting on longer distance shots.

Various teams offense v defense cutups.
Thanks. I usually record all the big games but I'll save this post anyway.
How are you on torrenting? Have you tried tenyardtracker.com?
I don't know what that means. I record them with my DVR cable box.
I haven't seen many ND games or players, but to those that have; what do you think of Louis Nix III?
-On the offensive side of the ball for North Carolina, Jonathan Cooper continued to impress, again placing his name alongside Alabama’s Chance Warmack’s as legitimate first round prospects. Cooper’s elite movement skills and overall athleticism have been well documented, but, versus Virginia, he demonstrated improved lower body power and drive blocking ability, including multiple pancake blocks in the run game. He still plays too high, has an average initial punch, and gets his hands outside his opponent’s frame in pass protection, but he plays with a consistently wide base, handles stunts seamlessly, and anchors like a bull; no UVA rusher got a sniff of UNC quarterback Bryn Renner through Cooper all game. And, in space, he remains exceptional, displaying the ability to help-block, then release and neutralize second level UVA defenders; and he made one truly remarkable play, when he chipped on Virginia’s nose tackle, then exploded upfield and took out a safety in the deep third, with an athletic cut-block.

Hey Tony - Kyle Long at the moment what round do you see Him going in next year
Draft? Look real impressive versus USC. Thoughts and opinion on the prospect. Thanks
late rounder at best...the SC defense is awful, so don't get overly excited about the performance...
1) better not move out of the top ten if you want a shot at Ogletree, though early word is he may stay for another year.....
