It may seem strange but he is playing as well as ever. The Luck-Manning situation looks to be working for both the Colts and Broncos at present.

Watching Brees play with a bad defense makes you appreciate what Brady did last year with a bad/ worse defense even more.

I think the Saints defense is worse than what we had last year. At least we were forcing Turnovers. These guys can't do anything, they just occupy space.

I think the Saints defense is worse than what we had last year. At least we were forcing Turnovers. These guys can't do anything, they just occupy space.

A few numbers for the 2012 Saints defense:


Average QB rating against the Saints = 115.1

Average Rushing Yards against the Saints = 170

Average Passing Yards against the Saints = 317

They have a total of 3 INT's on the year. They might be the worst defense of all time when it's all said and done.

Also, without Payton there to guide him Brees is completing under 60% of his passes so far after setting the completion percentage record twice in the past 3 seasons.
