can we ban this guy already?

Why,because Stone is right?

The team is getting players back in action sooner than expected because they are mighty thin at receiver and OL

Do you really think if Waters and Light were back this year,Mankins wouldn't have had more time to recoup?

The same goes for Hernandez who the team was hoping to bring back unexpectedly sooner for a quick fix to the offensive woes.

We will probably be returning to the Week 1/2 offense with Welker, Edelman, and Lloyd in 3-WR.

Excited to see EdelGod tear up the field :rocker:

Amendola is a poor man's JE

I would bet my life savings that Bradford has a career game this weekend.

If you're taliking about Rob, I doubt it. He's not athletic at all and barely passes the test as a media guy.

This really ricks me off. He was clearly brought back too soon and re-aggravated the injury.
The same old macho BS with injuries again. How many times have you see this? I guy is injured and make what appears to be a speedy recovery but then gets re-injured and ends up on IR...or he was brought back to soon and never regains his form and we find out after the season that he was injured all season. Stooooopid on the Patriots part to bring him into the Jets game and now he is out for who knows how long

Ankle sprains are funny things. You can think you're ready to go, and then one odd cut causes the ankle to blow up again.

For what, not towing the party line? Say hello to my Ignore list.

for complaining about players being out then complaining when they are brought back. you spew out bull**** without anything backing it up, Hernandez could be out for a setback that happened in practice for all we know. I'm not sure I've ever seen you post anything positive about the Pats.

this. some injuries are just tricky. take achilles injuries (aside from tears). you can feel perfectly fine one day..then a little more stress than usuall and youre in tons of pain again. that stuff never seems to heal right unless you tear it.

however, i will say that the pats should have given him a bit more rest. there wasnt any particular need to 'rush' him back. i understand wanting a guy like makins back a bit faster (though i think that was a bad idea) because there werent many other options...but there were at TE

So now he'll have gone from playing on October 21st vs the NYJ all the way to Nov. 12th again for another 3 week rest, which should give him plenty of time to heal his injured ankle.

On top of that he'll only miss tomorrow's game in that 3 week stretch.

I doubt they brought him back "early" as you say with the thought that he could re-injure it significantly enough to do much more damage.

Even if he dinged it up/weakened it a bit in the meantime, he's got 3 weeks off to heal it all over again.

Didn't he get hurt on the way up the ramp and have to be escorted to an emergency room?

No. Someone slammed the taxi door shut too hard and the pressure wave tore his ACL.

Yes and it doesn't even need to twist again to re-aggravate. Sometimes a hard step causing a slight jolt on the ligaments can do the trick.

I dont know if they generally use Percussion tests in football to diagnose the "true" status of ligament injuries, but even those tests dont always show the risk of re-aggravation.
