forgive my ignorance, could you explain a bit abt this post pls? , i know abt the U MAD BRO thing though
This game makes you miss the days when we had a formidable defense.
What defensive secondary?THAT'S HOW BAD our secondary is. INEXCUSABLE.
Seriously, everytime I've watched the Seahawks their offense is just putrid. How hard is it to hold that team under 20?
And to think our front 7 actually shut down Marshawn Lynch, the only part of their offense worth a damn. Everything else was Russell Wilson. THAT'S HOW BAD our secondary is. INEXCUSABLE.
I don't care how bad our secondary is, why can't people just admit Russel Wilson had a good game last Sunday?

If you remove the big plays he was 10 for 21 and ~100 yards passing.
I don't think it's that hard to admit Wilson had a good game. The point is that my grandmother can have a good game against our secondary, and she's been dead for almost 20 years.
Isn't "making big plays" what makes a good football player?
I get it, the secondary BLOWS HARD... Russel Wilson may not have played so well tonight, but he played well last Sunday. It depends on how the big plays are made. A running back who breaks 3 tackles on the way to a 50 yard rush made an impressive run. A running back who runs straight up the middle and goes untouched.... not so much.
In the case of Wilson, he got the big plays against a defensive secondary that sucks in the best of times, and his got his biggest play when the starting CB had been benched for incompetence, the starting safety had gone off with an issue, and the guys playing safety were two rookies, one of whom had been a rugby player who only played special teams on his college football player. Wilson was getting big plays by tossing balloons out downfield, and watching the stiff menagerie flail about miserably in a pathetic attempt to pretend they are NFL quality.
That's not impressive for an NFL QB.
