It's time to suck it up and just run the table... 17-2

re: What's next? The Pats will be 11-2

I'd prefer 2-2 for starters.

Do you ever watch other teams in the NFL? Seattle, Denver, Buffalo, and even the Jets (rivalry) won't be easy games.

To be honest I'd be absolutely delighted to be 10-3! If we could get by with losing just 1 of our next 10 games it would be an incredible achievement!

I think someone's farting rainbows and burping unicorns.....

Pats will be fine and win the division like always. Apparently teams only need to be 9-7 to win the Super Bowl so that's good. It's about playing great in the playoffs, that's what matters most. Hopefully the Pats do that.

No regular season game will be contested in as challenging an environment as that one.

Not Houston, Denver, or San Fran in Foxboro. Not at the Jets with no Revis. Not at the Bills with no Spiller. At Seatlle is always a challenge, but I look over and see Pete Carroll and cannot help but think that there must be a way.

If officiating allows it, it is time to start the Eff You Tour 2012.

Maybe it will include a Ravens rematch, who knows. Lets hope by then we don't have refs from the lingerie league and the NAIA making the calls.

We need to get Ridley comfortable in the no-huddle over Woodhead and get Vareen to spell him. Pressure D. Tough O line. Stay healthy.

Mostly we need to get that "shock the world" attitude back. Maybe now we are supposedly vulnerable we can use it for motivation.

If we run the table over he next 3 games, at Buffalo (tough environment) at home vs. Denver, and then at Seattle (tough environment) then we won't be stopped even by incompetent officials.

Until McDaniels learns how to make in game adjustments and banish woodhead from the offense and the defense grows a pair the eff you tour will be the effing ourselves tour as we make an early exit from the playoffs.

My Friend its not the the teams remaining in our schedule that scare me

ITS THE F^^ING REFS............. We wouldn't be able to be a High School Football team with these refs officiating our game

You know damn well next week when we beat Buffalo by two touchdowns your going to be back on the wagon. One game (which we played really well in all things considered) against an upper echelon team losing at the buzzer on a field goal that would have hit the upright if it were higher. Im not too worried. Its week 3. What were the Giants last year when they won the superbowl?

Doesnt matter how you play in week 3, we know this.

just because we're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get us.

That's a Jets/Colts fan/franchise attitude.

You can say "woe is me, everyone and everything is conspiring against us", like they do, or you can instead suck it up and get to work, like they do in Foxboro.

True that. If this team has any chance of being superbowl champs, they will win, regardless of the calls.

Exactly how does a fan 'suck it up and get to work'?

I am onboard with this. I want to see the Ravens again in the playoffs and ruin their season again.

The adjustments and calls were fine. The execution was off. Ridley didn't have any more success than Woodhead did. As for "running the table", let's get back to .500 first.

I think 17-2 is a stretch. I still think this team can go 12-4. The Pats lost to two of the better teams in the league and two of the toughest teams on their schedule. It was just a coincidence that the games were back to back.

This is a young defense and I think much of the problems last night was youth to go along with some bad calls and non-calls. I think this defense has what it takes to be much better. I think if this defense improves like most Belichick defenses improve over the season no matter how bad they are, I think this defense will still be an above average defense by the end of the season.
