Major Improvements To The Run Game

I am feeling SLIGHTLY better about the OL depth. I had thought that the Mumford had signed with someone else and was out of the picture. Today I read that he is still a FA and rehabbing after knee surgery and the Pats are more than willing to revisit signing him in a couple of months after we see how his recovery goes.

I thought Mumford played pretty well in the 2 games he started and the many times he came in as the 6th OLman. If he is back on the team around the time OTA's start, it would go a LONG way to making me more comfortable about the OL depth, at least among the T's

My hesitation is he technically started those games but that was really as a 6thOL/TE and Lowe played ahead of him. Not sure who would have played RT if Grandpa missed a game, and he wasn’t exactly great in LV.
Hopefully he’s part of a large group of vets and rookies fighting to be the non Ben Brown depth.

Expect a G/C or T drafted early. The OL has to get better so it doesn't nerf Henderson. He'd explode for 1,200+ on the ground easy with better OL play. A real FB helps as well.

I'd also like to see a few throws to Gilliam in pre-season to let teams know that is an option and they need to account for it. Develin had 18 receptions from 2017-2018.
For some reason why does it feel like devlin had more receptions...

We'll learn very early just how much the OL has improved once the roster is settled into what we believe will be proverbial starters... AVT when healthy Is a dam beast in the run game.. as well as pass protection. Campbell &Wilson will be healthy ans stronger in year 2.. Moses returns and Ownenu provides continuity.

LFG, Andy!!!

This isn't necessarily relevant but I wanted somewhere to say this.

One of the big things from last season was the faith Vrabel showed in Rhamondre after the Steelers game. BB would have probably benched him for the rest of the year and most of us fans were looking forward to a post Rhamondre world. The season would have finished differently if it wasn't for Stevenson. That was real leadership from Vrabel.
