I know Adam Schein is Jets fan, but he has gone overboard with the Jets ball washing this preseason. First, he writes a column guaranteeing that not only will Rex Ryan get the Jets to the playoffs this year, but will win aSuper Bowl as the Jets' head coach. Now he has written a piece how the superstar in the making, Mark Sanchez, had a great game that was derailed by Wayne Hunter and Hunter deserves all the blame for Sanchez' mistakes even his INT (which Schein admits it was a bone head play with poor mechanics, but caused by the beating that Hunter allowed on previous plays).

Yep, and Sanchez threw his line under the bus after the game, too. It should probably be noted that JPP is known to be a very good pass rushing guy, and that the Jets left Hunter out there without any TE help. Neither of those things is the fault of Hunter, and both of those things were known by Mark "I'm hearing steps but still holding the ball too long, and tossing pick-sixes" Sanchez.

It doesn't matter what any of us think about how they do, as long as nobody gets injured. Heck, I'm going to the game and don't really care. It's hard to read much into or take much away from preseason games. Even as pathetic as they looked last night, that includes your Green Beans. (Although, observing their ineptness and lack of discipline even in a practice game is a laff riot!)

Well at least if the o-line plays like crap, the Pats fans can take solace that both Mankins and Vollmer will be returning to the starting line up (along with Waters possibly). The Jets' starting line up played last night.

I've turned over an new leaf...thanx to the "except" exception...you're right, Eifmp...Sanchez ,except for that interception run back for a TD ,looked FANTASTIC completing all those 5 yard passes...and except for more of the pattern of fumbles and INT's Sanchez has shown the past three years, this is going to be a tremendous year for Mark and the Jets....

I just saw something that is certain to make all Jet fans squirm....even more Not only do they have to deal with the embarrassment that their 2 "starting" QB's have several picks 11 sacks, and ZERO TDs. That the best looking QB on their roster is McElroy. Now they have to deal with fact Drew Stanton, who they signed then let go) has looked better than all THREE of them so far in pre-season.

He did get pressure a few times, but nothing like the first game. But Vick is a left handed QB which means that Jones was a strong side rusher tonight. As a strong side rusher against a mobile QB, Belichick probably had him staying at home more to avoid Vick for rushing and block him from rolling out where he tends to be more dangerous.

Haha, I didn't watch the first half I just looked at the stats but if he is supposed to be that good then there is no excuse. If that was Coples our own fans would be killing him. I'm just trying to hold him to the almighty standard that Jets fans have for Coples and show how ridiculous it is.
