He's a 23 year old superstar being honest and having fun. He might be costing himself endorsement deals with his non-filter, but he's not worrying about the agents and PR people and having some homogenized image that appeals to all demographics. He's got a mind and personality of his own, and I appreciate that.

I think I'm pretty solidly on Gronk's side on this one.

He might lament the media attention but it was a pretty funny line.

You can't get a lob of a comedic softball pitch like that and decline to hit it out of the park (and props or blame depending on your perspective for the Rhody kid who asked the question in the first place.)

Now watch Goodell decree that Gronk gave the wrong answer and give the kid a hefty fine - likely preferring that Gronk marry Tebow and F Betty White (with there being no controversy or outrage over the notion of Rex Ryan being killed.)

I have no issues with any of this, but geez, I feel like every thing he says or does ends up in the media these days. I'd tell him to go and take a vacation or something, but you just know he'd end up in a pic wearing a toga somewhere. At some point the less we know about his daily activities and thoughts, the better...
