I would love to hear an explanation for why the Broncos thought the Jets were a better deal for the franchise. I'm sure there is one but maybe it is just as simple as the Jets got there first.

Even though the Jags' 4th rounder had more value according to the trade value chart (which may or may not be updated) than the Jets' 4th and 6th, but the Broncos might see the two picks as more valuable.

How many times have you seen/heard about a kid who grew up in a strict, religious home, did everything right, was well-mannered, saving himself for marriage, etc. go to college and go absolutely bats*** wild? I used Marinovich as an example because his story is well-known. Tebow may be an NFL vet, but he's an NFL vet in Denver, and he's a sheltered 24-year-old. It's pretty bad if the Jets see the dangers of him being in NYC.

And what's really interesting is that Tebow claims he didn't know where he was going and learned it on ESPN like the rest of us, but in a radio interview today Elway categorically said Tebow knew everything.
