Why that early? I've seen him mocked in the 3rd-4th round and around the 8th-15th best CB in this draft.

#Gophers TE Eric Lair took a personality test from the #Patriots, also met with #Jaguars and #49ers scouts.

He's projected as a UDFA but has the size to potentially also be tried out at FB.

That's the first I recall hearing of the Pats giving a personality test. I wonder what the hell's on it and what purpose the coaches think it serves. Would love to see one.

As a late round flyer, Omar Bolden is intriguing. NFL.com says he has round two quality, NFLdraftscout say's he has top -100 talent and NFP says he has starter potential.

If we get a later round pick, he might well be worth it.

Apparently we sent our DB coach. Interesting to note, we've shown interest in Ronnell Lewis and Darius Fleming of Notre Dame. I wondered whether we'd show any interest in similar type pass rushers like Massaquoi and Wake Forest's Kyle Wilber as a pattern. Maybe we are looking at a specialist 3-4 OLB pass rusher.
