Re: If Pats take one of these WRs - Floyd, Wright or Sanu - with a first round pick .

Sanu scares me, almost all of the other WRs and five TEs ran faster than him. He is from a non elite program, playing in a non-elite league that has already produced several draft busts for the Pats. I think that the Pats need some serious speed on the outside, not another big slow guy who can't get open. I too would rather take Fleener than Sanu (in the second round). I want no part of any WR or CB in the first round.

Several? The Patriots have drafted or brought in two rookies recently of Rutgers; McCourty and Underwood. Underwood is a developmental guy and McCourty had a pro bowl year in his rookie season....bit harsh labelling him a bust after a sophomore slump.

How many other players have we picked up int he draft or rookie free agency from Rutgers in our history?

Sanu will do fine. We need route runners. He's one of the best and smartest in the draft coming out of a solid football program under Schiano. You can use solid route running and physical build to get separation in the NFL. You can be as fast as you like, if you haven't got good hand work in order to beat your man you're going to suck int he NFL.

Have a guess which is the most represented school on our roster (I believe).

Darius Bu(s)tler says "hi"

I could see how you could forget him, but busting out on the 41st pick in the draft still kinda stings. I was talking about the Big East in General, not just the State University of New Jersey. Look the Big East didn't even have a QB invited to the combine! I really don't care if the guy DOMINIATED the Big East (which he didn't) I still want no part of him in this draft. I would rather draft a 3rd stringer from an SEC school, than a standout from the Big East.

Gators. But still...as I said...even if it was Rutgers, how does that make it a college that;s provided us with 'several' busts? But I misinterpreted what he emant...he was talking about the conference as a whole, not the team.

Sorry I thought you were talking Rutgers in general.

I would take Sanu, but I'm waiting for him to emerge after running into the room. He's so slow!
