Should we wear white or blue vs Giants?

As mentioned, the "home" team (which is the AFC this year) certainly and most definitely gets to choose their choice of jerseys.

Dosen't anyone remember the controversy regarding the choice of home blues in the 2007 SB? The NYG had just won 10 straight on the road, in their whites--and appeared more comfortable in the white 'away' jerseys.

Alas, Bill Belichick claimed that it "wouldn't matter" in regards to the jerseys, but I definitely would have preferred wearing white that yr.

As far as this yr goes---I don't think it matters, as the NYG don't seem to necessarily do better one way or the other.

I assume we'll wear home blue, if not you'll know that BB regrets his choice in SB42.

Call me crazy, but it seems like we've always played great in the red home throw-backs. Against the Giants, I would love to come out in the red jerseys, if anything else, than to change the look of what we saw on that horrible night 4 years ago.

I wonder if this would even be possible?

The Pats are the home team so they can wear what they want, but I'm sure that the NFL would have a say. I would love to see Pat Patriot, but I highly doubt it. Look for the Pats to go for the home Blues.

It is a silly statement, change the jerseys to have a different appearance than Super Bowl 42. There is no way that something like this will have an outcome on the game, but we DO know that Belichick is into these mind games as well. After all, he did have the Pats where their "away whites" at home against the Cowboys simply because the Cowboys like wearing white.

In fact, the Giants seem to play better on the road than at home. Any chance Belichick has them wear the white uniforms?

The Steelers in 2005 wore their white uniforms despite being the 'home team' since they felt they were road warriors (and had to play three playoff games on the road to get there).

The uniform discussion seems silly but if you're not sure where BB stands on using it as a psychological tool, look no further than our home matchup against the Cowboys. Dallas was forced to wear their navy blues which they've had bad luck in.

Now, for the Pats, their last 3 games against the Giants:

2007 season, Week 17, Pats win wearing white
2007 season, Super Bowl, Pats lose wearing blue
2011 season, Week 9, Pats lose wearing blue

Small sample size, blah blah blah, give me the WHITES.

Sidenote: The Giants look like amime characters wearing pillow-cases with arm-holes cut into them when they wear the blue. Is there an insane tailor in the Giants' employ?
