All year this D was told they are not good enough and this team can't go to a SB with this D. In the end the D was the reason they hung on to make it to the SB.
Well said. Just like the Baltimore game last year, offense refused to make a single play to win the game. Defense had to bail them out again and again.
This game was a war because our offense was strictly mortal (thanks to TFB's apparent refusal to ever get another ring LOL...)
A good old-fashioned war... it feels good to win one.
The D gives up all of 20 points despite the offense just giving the ball away... I really, really don't want to hear about how crappy this defense is anymore...
If Brady plays like Brady, and with Gronk back (just assuming,) I like our chances in the SB
Great friggin game. The zebras weren't calling squat all game which helped us in the end. If that was Pay-me-a-ton, they would've called PI on Moore for not turning around! :bricks:
Wow -- Brady failed to close it twice, and then luck came thru.
Hope we play the 49ers -- the giants are just clicking and their D is capable of containing Brady.
