Quick half time thoughts

1 Brady has missed more open guys in this game then he in the last 3

2. Solder has now been beat twice on inside moves. I hope Dante is speaking with him as we post

3. We are running better that I thought we would, and we should do it enough, because play action passes have been our most successful formation.

4. On the only good run that Rice had was because Spikes for some reason just sold out on a gap blitz and left open the spot where he ran. DISIPLINE Mr. Spikes

5. That being said, I love the way we are defending the run. In fact except for the bootleg (which worked) and the long pass that missed (Thank you Deadrick) Most of the passes Flacco has throw were into very tight places. Except for those 2 broken plays, pretty good coverage

6. Flacco has been playing great after the first 3 drives

7. I want to see some RB dump offs or screens -I want more runs and more play action passes off those runs I don't want to see Solder beat by an inside move

8. We had 3 key missed opportunities and we are still ahead - not bad
(the Brady Pick inside FG range - The miss of Gronk for the TD - Allowing the 3rd and 15 at the end of the half

Our Secondary continues to be the achilles heel. BB/Patricia have to get MORE pressure on Ben Stiller in second half!

they cannot run the ball

we can run it extremely well

our pass D is not doing so hot, our offense is being stopped in the red zone


my money would be on the patriots in this one, but not by much right now


however, the potential is there for our team to do some much better things in the 2nd half (which is, btw, OUR half)

the ravens do not have that potential, what we have seen from them is what we will get

Is it me or is Ray Lewis running in sand? He looks slow, though he can definitely deliver a blow against the running back like he did once or twice to Green-Ellis.

Brady has all the pressure on him right now. Flacco has nothing to lose and everything to gain from keeping this merely competitive.

Even if BB challenged that, I think they might have just let the call on the field stand. Just because it hit his hands when the left foot was in bounds doesn't mean he had possession at the time. Maybe it was a catch, but the refs seem to be more inclined to let the call on the field stand when it's a close call. BB probably assumed that, and let it go.

Oh well... Let's just get a TD and be done with it.

I swear, the only way you people would be happy is if Brady was 33/33 for 700 yards and 8 TDs. THey're playing the best defense of the past decade. It's not surprising it's close. They've also neutralized the Ravens main offensive threat. We'll see if Flacco can keep exploiting the secondary. But last time I checked the Pats are still leading.

Not true. They WERE. This Ravens defense is old, and slow.
