Just listened to his press conference. He called it a good day because he got to help a kid.
Its real hard not to like the guy.
It's too bad the media is so obsessed that their obsession makes people dislike him.

When you're a professional footballer how is losing a playoff game a good day? Much respect to his personal pursuits and humanitarian efforts off the football field but no thanks, I prefer my Quarterback winning.

Basically..Tim Tebow haters really hate the media for all their coverage of the same thing.

I like Tebow, but i don't quite understand why the media is going so out of its way to hype him other than he wears his religion on his sleeve. And there are plenty of other players that fit that category.

Thats Tebowspeak, Im sure hes not happy about losing deep down.

Agreed. I'm sure he's a great guy off the field, but at the end of the day, your job is to play quarterback, you are paid to win games.

Tom Brady does great things off the field too, but on the field, I want him winning games.

One quarterback threw 6 touchdowns tonight.

The media ignored him.

The problem is the media won't do that.. they'll build him up so high and then rip the rug out from under him. How many celebrities have we seen destroyed this way?

Yeah, Teboow looked very sad in that presser...Anyhow, I think media talks because he creates controversy and doesn't everything differently than most NFL players today...religion, virginity, and the way he plays.. Wish him nothing but the best, but not against the Pats..

jeezus...talk about painting a picture worth ten thousand words

How is the media going to ruin him? Man up and win games.

No one is questioning his philanthropic intentions. He's probably a great guy. He's an awful quarterback and should seriously consider changing positions. Be a halfback and give him a wildcat package. That's probably the extent of his ability.

Yea, he's a nice fellow, but whatever happened to just helping people anonymously? If anything, the fact that he broadcasts it so much makes me question his motives and authenticity.

I don't know. It seems to me he publicizes it only to encourage more people to do so.

Help a kid? Please just give me a break. NFL players do more charity work than 95% of the population. He really isn't the second coming--no matter how much he brings up his charity work unsolicited.

The media should do a lot of things differently. But as long as the people keep watching and they keep making money on it, they will not change.

That is not the point. The media builds up people like Tebow, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson and then dump on them first opportunity they get. In tebow case, the media hype him so much, it creates the opposite effect with fans of other teams. Even the players in the NFL is tired of him..because of the media..lol

It seems he was pretty much the same way at Florida. He acted this way when a lot less people were watching.

Todd Mcshay goes on twitter and starts being a troll:

There goes programming for a week.... Oh well, on to conference title games (and East-West Shrine game, of course!).

RT @RickAus: @McShay13 to be fair, it was against the NFL's worst defense.

Dude stick to being a moron about college football and scouting, leave the pros to other people at your network.

Maybe his point was that helping people is more important than a football game. Some football fans will never understand that.
