I wonder why people aren't giving Houston a chance?

49ers
Patriots
Giants
Texans

I expect all the games to be fairly close going into the 4th quarter.

Put me down for a TRIPLE Double Dirty Dog!!

Half my Chips to Win + Half to Cover on The New York FootBall Giants, San Fran, AND Planet Hoosten!!

1 ~ I see Planet Hoosten being the better team, and Yates was on my outer Radar as a cerebral type, this Spring...

2 ~ The Giants ~ like a local team we all know well ~ are getting healthy at exactly the right time, and are just the kind of Morlocks to stun these Eloi...

3 ~ And while I've always considered the Saints to be the Alpha team of that Conference, they do NOT like Grass, and San Fran is the Grass Capital of the WORLD!! Haw.

X ~ The Patriots, on the other hand, I expect to beat the HELL out'f the Donkeys, respectfully submitted. I presume NOTHING, mind you...But this IS a young team on the rise ~ perhaps like the 1988 Miners, in wake of their stunning Divisional defeat in 1987?? Who subsequently repeatedly beat the hell out of the Vikings several times AND won a couple Super Bowls, both precedents of which prompted my OWN predictions, this Summer!! ~ and we ARE getting healthy at JUST the right time...And I believe our Defense is going to STUN the vast majority of the world, over the next few weeks!! :rocker:

1 ~ Planet Hoosten + 9 & 3-1 to WIN!! 1 Million CLAMS!!

2 ~ New York FootBall Giants + 9 & 3-1 to WIN!! 1 Million CLAMS!!

3 ~ Miners +3.5 & 3-2 to WIN!! 1 Million CLAMS!!

4 ~ New England FootBall Patriots -14 to CLOBBER the Broncos!! 1 Million CLAMS!! :rocker:

Patriots will blow out Broncos. 41-7 (That says as much about the Broncos being incapable when playing from behind as it does about the Pats)

Baltimore 17 Houston 13. I really, really, think there is a very good chance Bmore loses. They are very overrated IMO, because they have faced next to no quality QBs to expose a defense that is nowhere near as good as people think it is, and because Flacco's comments this week make me think he is going to make poor decisions trying to look like a big play guy. But, TJ Yates tells me the Texans just don'[t have enough to pull it off.

Packers 38 Giants 20 Won't be close.

Saints 27 49ers 17 9ers just don't have enough offense. Thier D will limit Brees and co. but the Saints will keep getting the ball back and have too many opportunities.

I am very confident in 3 of the 4 picks, and the 4th is out of default because I think Bmore is ripe for the picking but Houston just isnt good enough to do it.

NINERS 24
Saints 21
thinking San Fran will step it up at home

PATS 34
Broncos 27
hoping for more like 45 to12 ....

RAVENS 17
Houston 14
can't see Baltimore losing this one at home

GIANTS 35
Packers 34
a real mano a mano, back and forth battle

The best thing of all is that we only have to face one of those four NFC teams by the time we get to the Superbowl

I agree about the B-more game. No one is talking about the Texans as if its a forgone conclusion Baltimore will win. They probably will, but the Texans reminds me of Carolina who played loose and got hot in the playoffs. They have nothing to lose and are a better version of Denver,IMO! Baltimore

Saint/49ers- I do think its going to be close game also. I really don't know whos going to win..No way the game is a blow-out, but the the defense in the 49ers is going to make Brees and the Saints earn a trip to the NFCCG. This can go either way. I've been leaning towards the 49ers though as the week goes on even though I hope the Saints win to keep my SB pick intact..lol

Giants/Packers- Its either going to be a Packers blowout or a close Giants win...

Saints 24, 49ers 23
Pats 31, Broncos 20
Ravens 17, Texans 13
Packers 35, Giants 31

Ahhh....The Timeless Wisdom of Off The Grid.

Seriously: This one was OBVIOUS, folks.

I had them at 34-10...me and 6 million OTHER people, it seemed, give or take a Field Goal.

It wasn't about Faith...

It was about understanding this Game...and the Opposing Forces.

My Predictions for the AFC/NFC championship

SF VS NY Giants in the NFC championship

NE VS Baltimore in the AFC Championship

So Fran will beat NO and the Giants will knock off Green bay.. The giants D line is going to destroy GB's O line and Eli will have his way with the GB defense. The GB NY game is the hardest for me to pick.. the easy thing to do is pick GB but for some reason I think the NY Giants are going to win.

I think SF being home will give them the advantage they need to take out the saints.. there not hte same team on the road. and SF's defense is really good.. a very interesting match up.. High powered O vs High Powered D

I am taking the 2 home teams on the AFC side.. But Baltimore has played some real stinkers this year.. some of the worst football I ahve ever seen.. which team is going to show up?

And New Englands defense has looked pretty horrible at times.. but all they have to do is play a solid game for their standards and let the Offense take care of the rest.

I nailed that one

Pats 41
Broncos 23

Ravens 20
Texans 17

49ers 24
Saints 21

Giants 31
Packers 21

Other than the 49ers-Saints game my score predictions weren't too bad either
