I know we're not into "excuses" here, but I'm surprised at how little slack people are giving this guy on this account. Did anyone else see his arm dangling after he laid a hit on someone late in the game? Dierdorf even pointed it out. McCourty clearly was in a good amount of pain and had limited mobility there, which could easily make a difference on making plays. I definitely am worried about the injury, short term; but I don't see staying the guys stinks and needs to be cut or some of the other stuff I've been reading here.

10-3 is bad, don't you know? We need to go 18-0 and people will still find problems with that. Meriweather regressed. I have no problem at all with getting rid of bad apples. it's amazing how all these teams that have great drafts and oodles of talent can just suck when it counts.

We need to be better than the best team in football every year with no rebuildng years at all. sucks to turn over 90% of your team and only go 14-2 and 10-3, I want my money back, waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!

We're arguing about different things. I'm more worried about the evolution of the roster since the lockout was lifted in July. There was really nothing he could do to save it from that point. If you want to argue about his drafting history, then that's an entirely different topic.
