Could Andy Reid and Bill Belichick Team Up Next Season?

Two very basic reasons why Andy Reid would not work here in New England:

(1). We'd starting losing games by 3 points.

(2). We play New Jersey every year and would risk foundational damage at Gillette by having two fatties on the field simultaneously.

His defense has been crap despite all the expensive talent ever since Jimmy Johnson passed away.

I think if it weren't for Jimmy Johnson Andy Reid never would have had a supposed heyday and become the defacto dean of HC's (a longevity based title apparently) to whom no criticism sticks. He's had total football ops control since 2001 and yet his teams persistent shortcomings and intermittent total meltdowns are never remotely attributed to coach... They tout him as this great disciplinarian and manager of men with egos...what a crock. Couldn't manage his own kids, either. Great selector and developer of QB talent?? Give me a break... Used to have two expressions, smug and befuddled. Lately he just looks like he's got perpetual angina. He doesn't know how to build or coach a championship caliber team. Increasingly just smitten with collecting or rehabilitating overhyped talent.

The media builds these guys up and adopts them like toadys, same deal with Reid's mentor Holmgren, and they will never admit they really aren't all that. Holmgren got lucky once, and then bolted for Seattle to cement his genius and what do you know...floundered because he wasn't really what led an organization to succeed once upon a time. Neither is Reid.

Yet Belichick they cannot stomach and they just live to see his eventual downfall. I mean he has to fall down eventually, doesn't he? Borges will go to his grave longing to cackle with his dying breath I told you so...he's a bum...jimmy's and joes...:blahblah: :bricks:
