Shouldn't the real concern be Buffalo?

Once the Jets got tied with both NE and Buffalo before last weekend, 90% + of the AFCE concern from Pats nation was about the Jets. Now that the Jets went 0-2, don't you think we need to pay more attention to Buffalo?

In a sense, technically Buffalo still controls their own destiny. If Buffalo runs the table, they win the AFCE because they would end up tied with NE and have the head to head tiebreaker. Buffalo is probably going to have to win that last game against us at Gillette to have a chance, but if you assume they can/will do that, we would have to win one more game than them the rest of the way, even with our current 1 game lead.

Not if Miami has anything to say about it, apparently.

Miami up 14-3, come on baby gimme that cushion!

Buffalo down by 11 to the 2-7 fish in the 1st quarter. They've collapsed already. NE owns this division.

I think the real "concerns" are from other divisions... taking care of the Chiefs would go a long way in putting distance between NE and the other AFCE foes.

How the Texans adapt with ML as QB, how Flacco fares, does Cincy miss Hall ? Can the Steelers keep up a good pace ? These seem to be more "concerning" barring a NE collapse vs mediocre teams.

The Pats are playing for seeding now, IMO!! The Jets and Buffalo are done!

well, hopefully buffalo loses this week, and then Beats the Jets next week...then barring an epic collapse the division is essentially ours

Buffalo is terrible right now. The Jets aren't good either but they're not as bad as Buffalo is playing. Even if Buffalo makes a miracle comeback against the almighty Dolphins here I'm pulling for them next week against the jets. Not a threat

Since going 4-0, the Bills have gone 1-4. They got blown out their last two games and getting blown out today. I think they are done.

I for one hope that all those Patriots turncoats who polled that they were gonna root for the Jets next Sunday against the Williams rend their clothing, gnash their tooth and recant

If the Bills win today, I will be rooting for the Jets next week.

If the Dolpins prevail, I will be rooting for the Bills over the Jets even thought the Bills will still be slightly more of a threat.

Agree. Buffalo is just about done. Balt/Pitt will get one wild card. That means Buffalo has to beat out NYJ, Cinn, Tenn. Don't see that happening.

Bad Hoodie, bad!!!

Root AGAINST!: The subtle change in focus that makes all the difference in not soiling oneself

Buffalo looks monumentally bad right now. It should be one ugly-azz game next week with two pathetically bad ball clubs going at it.

Thread answer

No, it should not be

No, it should not be

I'm guessing that, whether in Westerns or with the Bills, circling the wagons like nobody else would still usually give a grim result

I'm going to throw $100 at the Jets next week. They're going to beat Buffalo, count on it. Buffalo is probably the worst team in the league right now.

Miami is just killing them. They're toast. Other bonus is Miami is slowly moving down the draft board.
