The Giants can throw the ball and have very good revievers. Chances of a win is probably 50-50.
The Jets are at home and Sanchez isn't all that good. Chances of a win is probably greater than 50%.
The Chiefs are actually horrible. I like Matt Cassel, but he has no team around him. Chances of a win is probably greater than 50%.
The Eagles should be a very good team, and will be by the end of the season. I think that Mike Vick is a punk, but he is a variable that the Patriots have had trouble with in previous games this year. Chances of a win is probably less than 50%.
All of these teams have talent where the Patriots have the most trouble compensating, recieving. If the Pats come out of the next 4 games with a two and two record, they have done well. If they come out with a better than .500 record then they have done very well. The secondary on this team, and the defense that they are playing means that the opposition is going to put up huge passing numbers on the Pats. There isn't a whole lot of talent in that secondary, Chung and McCourty were drafted and everybody else made teams as street free agents. I have no reason to believe that they will perform any better than they did last week in Pittsburg.
One good thing that has happened is that the pass rush has become so so, which is better than when it is absent earlier in the year. Still, there isn't a whole lot of constant pressure on the QB, but at least they are getting a couple of sacks when it matters every once in a while. The question becomes will they continue to get better or will the pass rush just stay where it is. For the Patriots to beat the Giants they have to apply a lot of pressure on Manning. He has a good group of recievers but needs time to find them. For Sanchez they can hide their coverages and get away with less pressure and more run stopping coverages. For the Chiefs they need to pressure Cassel, but Matt has it in him to tear up the secondary if the pass rush disappears. The Eagles will be the most difficult game of the bunch. They run the ball very well and they have pretty good recievers. Vick isn't a very accurate passer, but he could tear the Pats up for 250 yards passing and 100 yards on the ground.
Let's hope that they can find a way to fix the middle of the zone, if not the Pats are in trouble.
