After Brady throws a pick, are you upset with his lack of effort to tackle?

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

Lets get this straight:

Moss is not returning. He has already said he won't. Give up that dream.

As for Ocho, I don't know. I would personally trash him at this point. Joey Galloway was given about 3-4 weeks to learn and preform and he never did. Ocho should be cut by those standards.

I'd rather have 2011 Galloway than Ocho

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

I don't think Moss is the answer (he'll just tempt B'OB to get even farther away from what is working). But today was the last straw for Ocho in my book.

PS - IMO running the sloppy route that led to an int was a much bigger screw up than the drop.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

this was NOT a matter of the system....v who ever brought that up? This was an instance of an easy catch that was over his Left Shoulder and He dropped it.

I bought a replica Ocho Jersey IDC if he is cut. It would be for the best imo.

Bring in Moss

Re: When/why did Bill Belichick turn into Tony dungy?

How about we run the gd ball just alittle bit. You get a lead and you throw it (literally) away. Defense was terrible as usual. Were turning into Indy east. I have confidence BB will turn it around though.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

I think the team will give him until the BYE week. There really is no pressing need to drop a WR at the moment.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

Right after the play I said "I miss Randy"......but Ocho shouldn't be cut for that.

next person to b*tch about officials should get banned. This team and the fanbase are looking/sounding more and more like a certain group of inbreds from Indy.

People who ignore the bogus calls by the officials are the ones who should be banned.

Bogus calls or not, that is not what lost the game
Inferior talent/coaching and lack of clutch play discipline are the reasons for the loss

Price should just take over his role tbh.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

A lot of plays/ interceptions determined the game, but this Dropped TD pass led to us LOSING.

not that it matters Brady would have set record if Ocho had caught that

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

i wouldn't cut ocho for one reason. the second they did the injury bug would hit our receivers.

But as soon as Price is healthy that social media hack named ocho should be jobless

What a waste of 4 million Ellis has been, he has contributed NOTHING.

That's funny. When I read your post I said to myself, "Ellis who?" and then I realized Sean Ellis plays for the Pats. The guy is invisible out there.

Re: When/why did Bill Belichick turn into Tony dungy?

Brady throws a career high 4 picks and BB is Tony Dungy?
You act like this is the first time the defense gave up 20+ points. 31 points should be enough to win if your defense is even half competent.

Don't want to sugarcoat the loss but when Brady has a 4 pick game on the road, with a good divisional opponent and we still lose by 3 points without the X factor Aaron Hernandez and a depleted secondary with Chung and Ras out. the loss hurts but better to have it now then later down in the season I have faith in this team they were just of by miscues and execution the defense will be fine you'll see

Re: When/why did Bill Belichick turn into Tony dungy?

How many SBs did Tony win again? Bill Belichick will always be in a league of his own. The Pats had one bad game.

My Thoughts on the game:

1. McCourty had no safety help at all. The Safeties were never in the right position to make a play.

2. We need better safeties. I wont be surprised to see a safety or 2 cut.

3. Defense was awful altogether. No Pass Rush, No sacks, no nothing.

4. The Bills threw at will because our secondary doesnt know how to cover. They also ran at will. Just bad defense all around.

5. Our offense is predictable. We need a balance attack. Ground and pound!!

6. Brady was forcing throws which is why he had 4 ints. I know after this game. It wont happen again!!

7. Ocho needs to step it up. Right now its looking like he's a waste of a pick, but its only week 3.

8. Patriots NEED TO STOP WITH THIS BEND DONT BREAK DEFENSE BULLSHlT!! OUR DEFENSE IS BROKEN!!

What will happen from now:

1. BB is going to lay into Brady, the Patriots, and the coaches
2. This loss will light a fire under their ass!!
3. There will be moves made and some players cut!

I have to disagree with you regarding the pass rush. It was there in the 1st half. It drew two holding penalties and forced two interceptions. The problem was that they got tired and the safeties and LBers (outside of Mayo) weren't helping in pass coverage. I'm sorry, but Guyton absolutely sucks there. Fletcher is better than him.

The Pats have no safeties beyond Chung. I disagreed with BB cutting both Sanders and Meriweather and I stand by that disagreement. Barrett and Brown are nothing more than Special Teamers.. That is plainly obvious. Though I'm not sure that Brown is that since he doesn't really attack the ball carrier and can't seem to bring them down properly. He had people wrapped up 3 times and they still got more yardage on him.

Tired of playing arena ball yet Brady & Belichick

A 21 pt lead on the road, an opponent who can score points and come back on teams, our D is banged up all over the place and we're still in Tom's going to chuck it all over the field mode?? 4 INT's later.....
When did this coaching staff lose their ability to coach "situational" football??

We will know the PATRIOT WAY of doing things is finally back when it stops being all about Tom Brady's arm and we get back to playing ball control, keep the game under control, control the clock with dink and dunk and RUN "SITUATIONAL FOOTBALL".
'Til then it's arena ball and lots of points will be scored but we ain't winning anything.
Don't care what problems the D had today. This BIlls lose was on the O.

See you look at this as one bad game, and that is the error in thinking that keeps happening, this is not one game, this is a pattern that has developed for almost 5-6 years. That always culminate into an ugly playoff loss.

Re: Bill O'Brien Lost this Game

The OC has nothing to do with zero sacks on defense. If the Patriots cannot sack Ryan Fitzpatrick, nothing Bill O'Brien does is going to matter.

Sacks do not win games by themselves. Forcing 3 and outs helps to win games. Keeping your opponent from scoring more than your offense is the key.
