After Brady throws a pick, are you upset with his lack of effort to tackle?

Hey! at least we didn't lose to the Jets, Colts, or Ravens!

No one is winning the one on one match-ups on the defensive front 4. Not Wilfork, Carter, Ninkovich, Ellis, Love... No one.

Re: When/why did Bill Belichick turn into Tony dungy?

Brady throws a career high 4 picks and BB is Tony Dungy?

Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

curious? Randy Moss is still out there and we know Randy already knows the system well. Do you see Ocho canned after the easy clutch over the shoulder TD catch that was dropped? Clutch players make that play. I am losing Ocho. I am infavor of Moss back guys I really am

I could make that play if I was in Ocho's shoes.

Re: Bill O'Brien Lost this Game

And you take pressure off the passing game by keeping the other team out the endzone.

They did a good job of that in the first half.

Re: Time to give up on the one gap 43 aggressive D that cant stop anyone

I'm talking about reality. YOU are talking some wishful fantasy. The reality is that the Pats depth doesn't allow them to play the way they did back in 2003 or 2004.

As for "driving down the field in 16 seconds", that is because of two absolute BS calls. If the correct call is made on the 1st down play, it's 2nd and 10 from the Buffalo 5 and no one knows where it goes from there. Instead, it was 1st and 10 from the 20. Which led to the 2nd bogus call. The one where Bodden didn't touch Jones past the 5 yards, yet they called it anyways..

And no, I am not ignoring anything. I leave you to ignore things. You do it so well. Probably better than anyone on this board.

Did the defense play great? No. But they showed some good stuff in the 1st half. A half decent pass rush (2 interceptions and 2 holding calls). Things fell apart in the 2nd half. But god forbid you look beyond your b!tching and moaning.

I believe Buffalo caught the ball and declined the "bogus" bodden penalty. So that didn't really come into play. You have a point on the Love penalty though.

Parcells would have cut Ocho, but the big cut after the embarrassing game doesn't seem to be BB's style.

Re: The REFS HOSED us by taking our timeout away

They didn't penalize them a time out.

Belichick called the time out after the refs (correctly) explained that once they signalled ready for play they were going to start the clock. He called the time out to keep 1:40 on the clock with the hopes the Bills would try to score the TD instead of letting it wind down to about 1:10 before the Bills ran their next play.

First off, the clock was never reset to 1:47 like it was supposed to have been. Secondly, after a play review, the rules require that both teams be allowed to get set before the time is restarted. Third, there was no 1:40 left on the clock when BB "called his time out". The clock didn't move from 1:43 from when the refs stopped the clock on the TD until they started it again long after the Pats supposedly called a time out.

Your explanation would make sense if the clock had actually been reset, which it wasn't.

What a waste of 4 million Ellis has been, he has contributed NOTHING.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

No, this shouldn't be the last straw. But what is a reasonable amount of time to give a new WR to learn a complex offense w/ no training camps, OTAs, etc. I'm not sure, but hopefully we see something soon.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

Kinda wondering if Chad goes away like Joey Galloway after that wk 2 loss to the NJY in 2009....where he dropped a key pass late in the game.

Re: Time to give up on the one gap 43 aggressive D that cant stop anyone

Refs had NOTHING to do with this loss. 4 Ints, and a defense that can't stop my grandmother is the cause of this loss.

Really? So the blown calls by the refs that game Buffalo 45 yards in penalties meant nothing?? That's hilarious since it led, directly, to the game tying score..

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

Wait first you people say trade Moss and now you want him back? Cut Ocho some slack, he had a bad game sure, but you don't cut players for one drop otherwise Moss would have been cut in 07

Re: When/why did Bill Belichick turn into Tony dungy?

By bill being a finesse defensive coach it puts pressure on brady to keep scoring because he knows the D can't stop anyone.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

he looks over his head out there.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

I will completely forget this loss if they cut Ocho. Usually I don't watch media coverage after a loss, but I will savor every moment if they ridicule that embarrassment Ocho Cinco

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

I said when Ocho rumours started I'd rather have Moss back. But, that isn't going to happen.

Re: Ocho's TD drop the last straw for him?

Lets get this straight:

Moss is not returning. He has already said he won't. Give up that dream.

As for Ocho, I don't know. I would personally trash him at this point. Joey Galloway was given about 3-4 weeks to learn and preform and he never did. Ocho should be cut by those standards.

Re: 4 picks

next person to b*tch about officials should get banned. This team and the fanbase are looking/sounding more and more like a certain group of inbreds from Indy.

People who ignore the bogus calls by the officials are the ones who should be banned.

Galloway had an entire offseason. 85 did not.
