Don't think any of us thought he was done when he made this play, and it wasn't that long ago.

In a situational role, Brady can get more out of him NOW than any of the other jokers Moss had throwing to him in Minnesota, Oakland, and Tennessee.

It is all speculation based on a few innocuous comments that Brady said on his weekly interview on EEI, specifically that he would 'welcome Moss back with open arms'. Expect every sports outlet to run with that, concluding he has a disconnect with Ochocinco, he's mad at Belichick, etc.

Yeah they already pretty much started that speculation. Mangini says you don't talk about your ex-girlfriend if you're happy with who you're dating right now. Then the other guy says Brady doesn't say such complementry things about Ochocinco.

Ummmmm......what? There's 6 WRs on the roster right now. Why is just about Randy and Chad. (they cut the part where Brady says if it was up to him, he'd still have Troy Brown, Patten, and Branch would have never left) That must mean he doesn't like a single WR on the roster!!! Or.......or maybe Moss, like the others mentioned, is his friend and he developed a comfort with him on the field?

Also, is the guy serious about Brady not saying anything good about Chad? He does all the time!

Yeah, it's all speculation about Moss coming back but the speculation on why Brady would welcome him back is 10 times worse.

Sorry, he has been a cancer in every locker he's been in, and he's just not that good anymore, nevermind the plays he would take off and liability he'd be in the running game. I'd be shocked if the Pats signed him, IMO, it would be pure desperation.

1. There's no spin more rationalising the potential return of a receiver who hasn't been in the clink.
2. Not all PatsFans wanted Moss gone or moved on. Plenty understood why it happened.
3. Assuming both play to their potential, that is a healthy looking receiver corp.
4. Not that good, takes plays off, liability against the run, pure desperation? Leave your assessment of the move to sign Plaxico Burress to your own boards.

That's all fine and well, but there were plenty of people on this board who A: didn't want to see him get traded away, and B: wanted him back after the Vikings waived him, including myself (check my posts if you don't believe me). I love Moss and recognize that he may not be an ideal fit given the current roster, but I would love for him to find a way back regardless.

If Welker's injury is not responding well, I'd say we have too.

Edelman can't stay healthy (hand - latest) and Price is unproven. Ocho has been slow to respond. That leaves just Branch.

I hate, I mean really hate ESPN and all sports talking heads. They simply don't say anything, they just drum up stuff to get ratings/clicks. The veracity of what they assert doesn't matter in the slightest. And they have 24 hours to fill.
