Just heard on ESPN an upcoming segment was about to air regarding Randy Moss' possible return to NE and TB's comments seeming to point to a possibility that it COULD happen! .I HAD to run out d%#*[email protected] was hoping that someone here may catch the actual segment on this. I am prob one of the rare few who think the guy could still be productive.....and will have something to prove this year as EVERYONE has written him off.....stay tuned! BTW, psychedelic to see gronks bro signed! GO PATS!

Interesting, mixed feelings on moss. Really want to see Price play but if he's the moss of old then it would be worth it.

I groan every time a Moss thread comes up because they are so repetitive. Some think he is done/toast. I think he is now a situational player in this league and certainly garners more value to a team like the Patriots as opposed to the Titans. I'd welcome the addition but am so tired of the Moss threads my eyes almost bleed when I read them.

The Gronkopalypse is upon us, and all things are now possible.

Bring him back in for a try..he sucks..drop him

Alright!!

Another Moss thread!!! I was just about to start one but now I'll wait 3 or 4 minutes before starting it.

If there's one thing I know, it's that if Espn is reporting it than you can take it to the bank. They NEVER have misleading intros or concoct BS stories.

It is all speculation based on a few innocuous comments that Brady said on his weekly interview on EEI, specifically that he would 'welcome Moss back with open arms'. Expect every sports outlet to run with that, concluding he has a disconnect with Ochocinco, he's mad at Belichick, etc.

Randy Moss told a reporter down in West Virginia that he would only come back to play for one team only, and that’s the New England Patriots. Would that surprise you if someday you were throwing to him again?

Would it surprise me? I mean, you never know in the NFL. I talked to Randy just before training camp started. I love Randy. He’s one of the greatest receivers in the history of the game, one of the greatest players I’e ever had a chance to play with, and I love the guy.

Unfortunately, I don’t make personnel decisions. I’d still have all my friends here. Troy [Brown] would still be here. David Patten would still be here. Deion [Branch] would never have left. I’ve seen so many guys move on over the years, and then guys come back. So, who knows? Who knows? You never know what situation we’ll be in here next week, for that matter.

I think they should bring him back if he is willing to accept a situational role and do what he can to help the team. Moss and Ocho on the outside with welker in the slot would create problems for any D.

If he really wants to play and come back to NE, Belichick, TFB, Bill O'Brien, Caserio are ALL going to light fires under his ***.

Don't bore us with factual context!

ESPN needs RATINGS!!!!!!

I think if Branch ever goes down (hardly inconceivable) and if Price and/or Ochocinco don't work out/get hurt, then we might see Moss back. As of now, it's nice having him on the shadow roster. In the meantime, BB should send him a video on blocking for WR's 101.

If he does return to the Pats will he be come back with a clear head? Will he be content with only getting the ball 4 times a game? This is a more conservative offense, not the the one that would just chuck it down the field. That being said I would be interested to see him return to the Pats.

Don't forget Los Dos Gronkos!... and that Hernandez guy, he's pretty good, too.

He'd also be our tallest receiver.. by a long shot. I'm torn because I have no idea which Randy would be coming back if it did eventuate. Mind you, Deion did seem to swallow the humble pie coming back to New England.

To be honest I thought he was a pretty good blocker.

I dont know about this.

The Death Star is almost complete....all they need on offense is a deep threat (and don't give me that Taylor Price stuff); Moss (unlike the Pats other receivers) would command a CB plus a safety. He is the last part needed for the Death Star...now we just need a safety...how's Darren Sharper's knee?

Bring back Adalius Donquail Thomas!!!!!
:bricks:

I want Him ! and I want him now. If anything, I think Randy has had time to think and knows full on ......this is IT ! Go out BIG :rocker:

How does everyone know that Moss can run deep anymore? He was looking old last time around.
