Pats Next Opponent: Tampa Bay Bucs
By: John Morgan

Pats fans all have certain players and units they will be focusing on in the next preseason game, but what can we expect from that opponent, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?...

If nothing else, Bucs have the best cheerleaders!

"For those of you that may like to make the game more interesting by placing a wager, Tampa Bay is listed as a two to 2-1/2 point favorite, and the over/under ranges from 36.5 to 37.5 depending on where you do business. …"

Lol I'll actually be at this game.

I wonder if Brady is even taking a couple snaps?

Tampa's probably expected to try to win, while the Patriots are probably expected to keep with the evaluation process.

Looking forward to seeing our starters play a bit and on the other side I will be looking at the play of former Pats Ted Larsen and Tyrone McKenzie who are reported to be playing at a high level for the bucs...McKenzie is a captain I believe.

Blue Thunder, what's happening? You heard anything about the other site?

I just bought my NFL pre-season package can't wait to see the 2nd game! I got the 1st via illegal stream now I put down for the real deal

This should be interesting.....T bay is more of a running team,so I'd like to see how much 3-4 vs 4-3,BB plays. Also, going to check out Andre Carter,I think he's really motivated to have a big impact for us.

This should be an interesting...game as the young Bucs want to show they are ready to get to the next level ....against one of the top teams in NFL..but also because of the beating they took from the Pats ....the last time they played (I think it was London).....

I wonder if that Bowers kid will play for the bucs.A number of teams passed up on him because of his knee issues.

I don't know, I always considered the Chargers cheerleaders tops, followed by the Dolphins.

On that topic, is it just me or does it seem like the networks have far fewer camera shots lingering on the cheerleaders the last few years, ever since games started being broadcast in HD and ownership of a big screen HD television became commonplace?

Yes
Another thing that in all seriousness I blame Goodell for

I wouldn't risk a 1 on Bowers his knee thing means he'll be out of the league in 4-5 years, Probably sooner imo

It must be something with the NFC South as I don't mind the Saints, Bucs or Falcons. Should be a good game. Looking forward to seeing Freeman play (given the Jets could have had him without trading away their future).

This could be fun tonight - it looks like a high scoring shootout. The Pats can score even when the 3rd string is in there and the Tampa Bay defense is most unimpressive. The Bucs look like a handful on offense, though.

Unofficial pick the score contest: Bucs 39 - Pats 36.
