Used Drafttek.com Big Board and based it on best available team needs.

17. J.J. Watt DE Wisconsin
28. Nate Solder OT Colorado
33. Mikel LeShoure RB Illinois
60. Sam Acho OLB Texas
74. Danny Watkins OG Baylor
92. John Moffitt OC Wisconsin

OK, Ready for the firing squad!! :bricks:

No firing squad here. Nice job, effort, and research etc.

The only thing I would question is whether or not Watt (17), Leshoure (33), and Watkins (74) will be gone before these points--it is my opinion that they certainly will.

Just an opinion though.

Watt - I like it
Solder - Sounds good
LeShoure - He really doesn't excite, I don't see what everyone loves about him
Acho - Short? Idc, he's atheletic and I love the pick
Watkins - If we can get him this late....:singing:
Moffitt - Honestly, he's one of those players that I'm just not sure what to think

I know that. I was just going by the draft tek big board. CBS rankings are completely different!!

I think you did a nice job, and I'd be happy with the first 4-5 picks for sure. I have a lot of respect for anyone who makes a mock, as I definitely could not do any better.

Leshoure isn't a "certainly", nor close to one.

But yeah -- with Watt and Watkins at those points in the draft, it's hard to go wrong overall.

Did I mention that it was simply my opinion?

I think Leshore goes instead of Ingram, and even if he doesn't, there is still a chance he'd be gone by then. You are more than correct in stating that it's hardly close to a certainty.

It's ok. Not bad. I think Reed at #33 is better than Acho who some say is a third rounder. So Watkins at #60 but he most likely is gone. Murray at RB at #74.

How is this for a shocker?
Watt at #17, Watkins at #28, Ingram at #33, Jonathan Baldwin at #60, Moch at #74 and Moffitt at #92.

Baldwin: Issues are a typical diva but catches with his hands and faster than you think at 4.4. speed. 6" 5" and 225. Models his game after Fitgerald. Kind of forgotten, the type BB likes.

Moch is taller than Harrison, Mathis, Dumerville and Freeney. Is is actually 6' 2" (6' 1-3/4") with a 42" vertical!!!!! Unlike Kerrigan, Quinn, Smith etc., I saw the tape on him in coverage against Boise and he was good. If BB is scared to go rush LB early because they are all conversions, at #74 this kid is a great value and should be an ST demon with 4.2-4.4 speed. He is the same size as TBC but light years quicker.
Please look at tape on this kid. We can't get burnt at #74.

Then another surprise of Herzlich from B.C. in the fourth, Cortez Allen as a Safety in the fifth, and OT Michael Person Montana State in the sixth.

I'd certainly be on board with this mock DW.

Moch is really undersized for the Pats defense. He'd be a subpackage guy only. I think he could bring the talent on passrush but how is he at coverage? I don't think he could set the edge at all at his size, but if he can cover too, he could definitely see snaps in a 4-2-5 nickel package.
