Besides the Patriots winning the Superbowl, is there anything better than watching the Colts / Steelers lose it in back to back years?

Yes! Us not choking in both of those years.

I cannot believe we let this year get away. The GB team was far from impressive. This feels more like the 2007 SB (but with more mistakes).

I know I sound like a loser, but IMO this loss by Pittsburgh helps the Pats legacy in a way.

First off, Big Ben doesn't tie Brady with rings. Second, I feel the Pats loss in '07 isn't as bad as first thought for this reason:

The last 8 AFC Champs have been either Colts/Pats/Steelers. These 3 teams have dominated the AFC the last decade. And each of them now have a loss in the superbowl.

Nah, you don't sound like a loser. If I didn't feel the same way I wouldn't have been rooting so hard for the Steelers to lose.

very sloppy game, GB gets 21 points off pitt turnovers meaning they really only scored about 10 points on their own, and their wrs dropped what seems like 21 passes haha

Don't forget Ben failed in his first SB as well. 9 of 21, 43%, 123 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs, 22.6 QBR. They won in spite of him.

But yeah, congrats to Green Bay.

yeah ben sucked in 2 of 3 sbs now lol

but this is the first time in a long time that i can recall him being so unclutch at the end of a game, although my sb mvp pick mendenhall deserves some of the blame as well

Some day you will realize that nobody wins all the time. Be thankful we've won more than anyone in the last decade PLUS and we ain't done yet with Belichick, Brady, several probowlers including youngsters who could be around awhile and 6 freakin draft picks in the top 90 still to come...

OK, but we didn't look that impressive when they nearly beat us at home with a backup during the season.

We couldn't even get past the freakin' Jets, who we killed a few weeks earlier. Let's not act like we would have iced this one had we been in the SB.

It is what it is. For a rebuilding team, we did all right. We still have a ways to go though.

I thought this year (well by week 13 or so) it would be the Patriots vs GB but seeing how the Paitriorts squeeked out a 3 point win at home vs a backup QB the Packers would beat the Patriots in the SB. I am glad it didnt play out that way because losing the SB is worse than earlier.

not totally accurate. only 1 turnover was returned for a TD, they drove 40-50+ yards for the other 2
