As I'd said losing to the Jets was the most horrific disaster ever.

Lost a valuable opportunity for ring #4. Pats own the Squealers. Sad. Disaster of titanic proportions to be favored and lose badly to the loud mouthed foul Jets.

This was a tough one for me. Both my parents are 71, and huge Jets fans. My mom didn't get into football till like 1972, so I feel bad for her. She always roots for the Pats when they were in Super Bowls, and felt terrible for me in 2007. BUT, Rex Ryan, Cromartie and Bart Scott have made me hate the Jets so much, and the wound is still so fresh from last week, I couldn't find myself rooting for the Jets. I couldn't take another week of local media ballwashing, since I live in NY. Am I a terrible son ?

The Jets suck, and I'm thrilled that they lost, but props to Ryan for not pretending the loss didn't piss him off. That's one of the most natural reactions to a big loss that we'll get to see in this era of coaches who train in P.R. as part of their jobs.
