Terrible play call on 3rd and 5. Well, terrible when Sanchez is your QB and can't make that throw regularly.

Not the call, the decision. The play call wasnt throw it deep, it was a number of patterns, one of which sent a player deep, to take a defender or 2 (depending on the coverage) away from the area you want to throw to.
