The divisions are getting tighter every week. Now Colts lead the division, jessh I wanted Jags to win badly. Steelers.... urggh

I throw in the 49ers bit because I've been rooting for them to win the NFC West since they went 0-5. That would be ****-ing hysterical.

1. 49ers win (@ Rams)
2. 49ers win (vs Cardinals)
3. Seahawks lose 1 game (@ Bucs or vs Rams)

= 49ers win the NFC West at 7-9.

I'd love to see it, but the knee-jerks would end up changing the playoff setup and pretending they've solved the (non-existent) problem of "fairness".

As would I, I always love seeing the bizarre and improbable happen. (Unless we're the victims of it)

I would be very disappointed if the playoff system was changed, it's great as is and this is coming from someone who had to watch the 11-5 Patriots miss the playoffs.

Division races and the importance of winning your division is one of the things that makes football great. But hey, let's just seed by record, have an 18 game schedule and play more games oversea.

Another episode of "Refs hand Jest the game..."

How's that? They tried to give the game to the Steelers all day. But you're to blind to see that. Did you see the two free first downs the refs gave the Steelers without measurement and both a yard short?

Like it or not, the Jets earned that win today. They have looked like crap, and they are still not a good O, but nobody but the Jets gave them the win today. get a grip on reality.

What the hell....they flexed Eagles/Vikings next week?! Who the **** cares about that game? There's 4 games that each have BOTH teams fighting for a playoff spot.

Jets @ Bears
Giants @ Packers
49ers @ Rams
Seahawks @ Bucs

I can understand people not wanting to see the NFC West games (though I personally find it very interesting) but the Giants/Packers is a huge game and Jets/Bears also involves two playoff fighting teams.

Anyways, for tonights game deff rooting for the Bears. Helps our 3rd round pick and it keeps the Bears @ the #2 seed. Makes me even prouder of our win and making sure the Eagles don't get a bye/home field is good. They scare me.

Quite the sequence of eventful kick off returns yesterday. I couldn't believe that Jags onside kick total fail, then Brad Smith (who IMO is the jets' MVP) burns the Steelers to open. Then we had the whacky onside kick thing from Green Bay and, finally, some redemption with Connolly's return.

Hmm. So Favre has been upgraded from "Out" yesterday to "Doubtful" for today. Apparently there's no rule against it.

I was actually wondering about this Saturday, whether the Packers could do that with Rodgers - -declare him out Saturday, then "questionable" a few hours before game time.

I hope he plays, who the hell wants to watch the Vikings 3rd string QB tonight?

Nice, it's snowing in Minnesota for the game tonight.

He looks so good maybe he'll come back next season. :p ;) :singing: :bricks:

I wouldn't mind finding someone gullible to trade him to in my dynasty league. Reluctantly picked him up 2 weeks ago.

Football outdoors >>>> football indoors

Hopefully the second half is more entertaining than the first half was.

until he got his head bounced of the frozen tundra. He sucks and is a drama queen. He was listed out all week, then right before game time he is listed as a starter??? if that was the Pats everyone would be calling on congress to get involved. The guy makes me puke. Funny towards the end of the half, they put the camera on Farve, and the announcer says "there is Farve on the sideline, looking cold...and old" I had a good chuckle. If there is a God, this will be the last we see of Lord Farve, King of Drama.

OT: Why do people kick to Devin Hester again?

Just set the record for most career return touchdowns...

If it were me, I'd just kick it out of bounds. even on kickoffs. Better to let them get it at the 40 than to put 7 up on the board... lol

OT: Devin Hester sets NFL record for combined career kick/punt return TD's

14.

Quite an accomplishment.

But let's be honest. I've seen the kid's return game, and he's no Dan Connolly.

There's absolutely no discipline from the Vikings or Bears tonight. What a collection of stupid teams.
