Asante thinks he's Marlon McCree.

I bet he's still happy, the interception still counts towards his stats and he is only about the money anyway

That is a Sanchez-esque slide...

On a side note, Coughlin is going to lose this game giving up a timeout.

I feel like I'm watching a Jets game not a battle of NFC titans

Giants lose, hell yeah.

They were considered by some (even on this board) as the best team in the NFL two weeks ago after being 6-2.

They're now the #8 seed in the NFC right now, only a game ahead of the Deadskins.

Do you think the Brothers Manning will have a late night phone call tonight to console each other?

And why not? They DID look pretty good.

Of course, I take back what I said. :D As is typical of the Giants, they look good in Week 9 and then suck down the stretch. Too bad, I wanted another Pats-Giants Super Bowl.

I said it then and I'll say it now, they were beating BAD teams.

Lions (2-8)
Cowboys (Wade Phillips edition) (3-7)
Texans (4-6)
Seahawks (5-5)
Bears (7-3)

Only good team they beat there were the Bears, who aren't regarded as great by anyone.

Urgh, if only the Jet lost (like they ****ing should have screw the Texans) then it would have been a PERFECT day

What a day, got to see peyton choke then see eli choke twice(tried to choke but asante decided to give him another chance). NBC better pull the eagles-cowboys game off SNF. Does every NFC East matchup really need to be on primetime?

Eh, I'm not getting into another catfight about the Giants, but all they can do is play their schedule. Besides, sometimes good teams lose to bad teams. See Pats-Browns.

As I've already said, they're melting again. Hopefully in two weeks, the Pats can keep the agony going in New Jersey.

Looking @ SNF's schedule for rest of the season, I'd say...

Chargers @ Colts
Good (more so if Chargers win on MNF)

Steelers @ Ravens
Great

Eagles @ Cowboys
Bad

Packers @ Patriots
Great

Chargers @ Bengals
Bad

So I think week 14 & 17 will be flexed. I wouldn't be surprised if Pats @ Bears is flexed week 14.

Not so sure the Pats-Bears game will be flexed, given that they play on SNF the following weekend.

Today, they won the game.
Against Denver, Detriot and Cleveland they were the recipient of the other team losing the game.
The only reason to not give them credit for todays win is by saying they deserved to lose one where they outplayed the other team in a close game after winning 3 they were outplayed in.

=================================================

Not sure I understand, Colts lost the game today, does that mean it's not a good win for the Pats,,,

Never mind, tired.

Chargers win tonight and they'll remain one game behind the Chiefs.

Broncos win and both they and the Chargers will be 4-6 and 2 games behind 1st.

Go Broncos, just end the Chargers. Also sick about hearing about Phillip Rivers for MVP. Brady is the clear MVP.

Ugh, next Monday nights game is Cardinals vs 49ers, good thing I'll be out. Wonder what the ESPN ads will be like...

What's the commercial going to say?

Jaws: Looks like a good one coach. We got the 49ers, the...worst team in the NFC West
Gruden: Yeah but they're up against...Max Hall
Jaws: ....

*MNF Football Theme*
