Ya deleted my internet idea MASTERPIECE. That's such the crock of sh*t.
Whoever did it is a loser. There's no way anyone who's a valued member of society EVER woulda deleted that post. It was a gem. Gee-bussss.

What a freaking place this is. It's almost a unfortunate side effect that goes along with all the accolades of being a Patriots fan.
You are starting to sound like that nut job from Arizona (if I remember correctly) that the moderators finally banned from the PatsFans message board. Damn, I can't remember the old man's handle.

if you cant take someones (negative) opinion, then its time to stop playing on the internet.

+1

LOL at complaining about posts on a public forum.

That depends.

Would you post this?

Or this.

did I post that? WTF is the relevance?

go back and look what I posted......there was plenty to not like about the game. I don't think anyone should be cut.

the passing game is reminscent of 2006.....problem is that we don't have the RB's to do anything about it. everyone knows what the pats are going to do.

the on 'trick' play was when the pats actually went to sammy morris......boo yah!

for what its worth, this is a rebuilding year. this team ain't far off the 2002 squad, and with if the CBA goes through, I rust this team will be active in free agency as I don't believe draft picks alone will add much difference to this team next year.....great for the long haul, but if they don't get a veteran WR who can stretch the field, and someone who can get to the passer once in a while, then next year will be just like this year.

Why is it wrong to complain about posts on a public forum?

nothing more than complaing about the posts that complain about the posts that complain about the posts.

round and round we go........

like I said, make a kumbaya thead......most will be sure to avoid it....except maybe for a laugh

It's being hypocritical.

I agree that people can be ridiculous. Example that guy who posted that we should bench Brady and fire BB etc.

But in general, people shouldn't get affected by other peoples posts. It's a public forum. Unless someone is verbally attacking another individual, sharing your thoughts, be it criticizing or praising, are what makes forums great IMO.

I think Nikolai answered pretty well. There's a big difference between saying:

"The O-Line just isn't getting the job done today. Brady's rushing his passes and the running game is stuck in low gear. Belichick and Dante have to make some adjustments or this game is going to go south fast."

and

"The O-Line sucks and that greedy **** Mankins is a useless piece of money grabbing ****. Brady's playing like a *****-whipped wimp behind it and that overrated BJGE dances like Maroney without the hair. Belichick's lost it I tell you. I don't think he gives a damn any more."

its funny, but I recall some of the people you would actually call 'homers' on this board and the ones who hold the hands of the ones complaining about the complainer as the ones who were dumping on mankins without any football substance

I think in general that the pats are prone to being physically knocked around. Most of the DL is big and fat and hard to move, but wilfork and deaderick are the only ones who are doing anything with any consistency.

I didn't get the sense Nikolai was accusing you of any particular style of posting. Simply responding to the issue of posting negative comments and saying that one style of negative comment is acceptable and constructive and the other is just trolling. And if you are posting the constructive type that is not a problem, but the other is.

yeah.....well I was named in the 'name the troll thread', so pardon if I am a bit sensitive.

Like I said, there was plenty to be negative about.

There was a "name the troll?" I didn't see that thread. It must have gotten deleted or moved. I wonder if I got named name by one the chicken littles for being too optimistic. I hate it when folks make their list of homers and leave me off.

I agree that some people end up going over the top, but that can happen whether you're online or watching with friends at home.

Here is one thing I will moderate on this thread. That is mocking and mentioning other posters by name.

I have deleted 2 posts like that, and should there be another, more action will be taken.

Well I guess you showed him...LOL (which is what he is doing to you).

yeah....I don't know where it went....someone made a list of all the posts they deemed to be trolls and posted it.

Yep, that's it. I thought it was obvious, but eh, what can you do?

As for the Jewish thing, I'm not going to get into an uproar over the Nazi thing, well, except for the fact that bringing up Nazis is a pretty lazy way of doing things. Oh, and I hate gefilte fish, so yes, I probably would use it to beat someone before I'd eat it.

Unless you reach a tipping point of morons. Be it sitting around the kitchen table or a bar or whatever, when there are lots of people making asinine comments you're more likely to want to check out.

Asinine's in the eye of the beholder, of course...
