The real hypocrisy is that if it were a Patriot receiver who took that cheap shot you'd be whining about the lack of a suspension against the guy who did it.

You mean like the Eric Smith cheap shot on Wes Welker in week 2??? Funny how the NFL fined Eric Smith $7,500 and Bo more mention was made about the "eggregious" nature of that hit!!! It took Brandon Merriweather to get the NFL all hot. Funny how it's never the Jets cheap shots and rule braking that draws the NFL attention. All Jets issues are quickly swept under the rug!!!

The NFL says it regrets the mistake re: photos for sale of Harrison/Meriweather hits, and is correcting the process by which photos are selected.

They are actually SELLING framed photo shots of the very illegal hits that NFL players were fined for yesterday.

I can't view the images so perhaps the morons got a clue, but still to even think it was ok to do that.

The NFL admitted it was a mistake to allow photos of illegal hits from Sunday's games to be sold at NFL.com. Pictures of hits by Patriots cornerback Brandon Meriweather and Steelers linebacker James Harrison, which resulted in fines of $50,000 and $75,000, respectively, were made available by an outside vendor that used an automated process, the league said.

"We regret mistake," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello tweeted Wednesday. "Those photos will be removed ASAP & we will ensure no photos of illegal plays r available again."
