I personally hope the crowd cheers him, i know it was only 4 years but he was nothing but an upstanding citizen while here and a true leader.
Why don't you cheer for the things you KNOW he did (e.g. big part of the most dominant offense in the history of the NFL) rather than decide not to cheer based on the things the media tells you he did or said.
Because he freakin' agitated his way out of town!!! I don't need the media to tell me that. As I stated in another thread, I place the onus squarely on Moss for precipitating the trade. Moss is a "me first" guy first and foremost, who becomes a team guy secondarily when the money, limelight, catches and victories align to suit him.
Ok so how do you -know- he "agitated" his way out of town. BB has flat out said nothing to make you think that.

BB always keeps that stuff private. But you needn't look past his week one press conference and the things he said before and after that fiasco to understand why he's gone. I also believe that the accounts of Troy Brown, Tedy Bruschi and Ron Burton shed further light on Moss becoming a malcontent to the detriment of the team.

Don't get me wrong, I loved what he brought to the field here and cheered him plenty for that. I even bought a Moss T-shirt once. But it's hard to forgive his selfishness leading to his "ouster," which is why I will neither boo nor cheer his introduction.
BB has never flat out said anything in his football life. You can't seriously think that Randy went up to BB after the first game and said, all friendly-like, "Hey Bill, I'd like to go play with Brett Favre now that it seems you guys have other plans for next year..." and BB answered cheerfully, "Okay, Randy, let me see what I can do."
As I and a few others have repeated over the last two days in numerous threads, there is no way the Pats and BB do THIS deal at THIS time, and seriously imperil their season, unless Randy Moss became intolerable behind the scenes.
BB decided that gambling he and Brady could put it together for the rest of the season without Moss (and with the young D he has that has had trouble stopping anybody to this point) was BETTER than letting Moss play out the remainder of his contract. The third round pick was a "get whatever we can" pick up, as evidenced by the fact that we had to throw in another pick to even get it done!
I'm with Tune on this. I won't boo (unless he scores, and then I will boo big time), but I sure as heck won't cheer.
So a press conference in week 1 makes you forget all the great plays he's had for us 3 years? Fans like you really are something else, miserable and self righteous.
You're a total dweeb for saying such a stupid thing. I cheered more than anyone for Moss and even bought a Moss T-shirt when he first got here. I loved the guy for what he did on the field and backed him 110 percent. But it's damn hard to forgive him for the childish way he ended his tenure here, letting down all Patriots fans including YOU. I'm not going to cheer him when he takes the field as an adversary but I'm not going to boo him either. If you think that's being "miserable and self righteous," you're an ignoramus.
